Rosie Lerner will be leading/facilitating a Real Colors Training, Purdue Master Gardeners Growing through Leadership, Wednesday, March 16 th , Tippecanoe County Extension. Wednesday, March 16 th from 10-11 am, HORT 217 Coffee Hour. Drop in to interact with your colleagues. Graduate Students, this is your chance to chat with faculty. Please bring your own cup. Bruce Bordelon will give a presentation on Grape Growing and Home Winemaking-things to consider at the LaGrange County Master Gardeners 10th Annual Wake up for Spring Conference, March 19 th in Shipshewana. Abstracts for the annual ASHS meeting are due March 15 th . Melinda Appold was accepted as a Junior Fellow for the 2016-2017 Service-Learning Faculty Grant Program. Congratulations Melinda! Petrus Langenhoven and Liz Maynard were interviewed for a front page news article that appeared in the Journal Constitution paper on Sunday. National Extension Master Gardener Data The information provided was compiled from data collected by the Extension Master Gardener National Committee in 2015. The numbers reflect data collected in 2014. 38 out of 49 states that currently have Extension Master Gardener programs reported information about impacts of their programs. The overall national impact of the program is significantly higher. Our booth received a face lift this year! Blue and gold are the new colors for the booth to commemorate Indiana’s Bicentennial Celebration (blue and gold for Indiana’s state flag).
