Seam sealing tape is a thermoplastic adhesive film applied to sewn seams of fabrics to prevent water from leaking through the seams. It can be applied by using any of the commercially available hot air taping machines, laser or ultrasonic machinery.

The products like mountain wear, skiwear, motorcycle wear, golf wear and tents are mainly produced using waterproof, wind proof and breathable fabrics. Those fabrics themselves are coated by P.U. or P.V.C. to prevent from leaking of water. But in the course of manufacturing apparels there must be tiny seam holes which will let leaking through of water. Using seam sealing tape, in that case, we could accomplish perfect waterproof.

· HiMEL® is the heat activated seam sealing tape to seal the sewn seam for waterproofing. It is composed of two or three layers. One is the hotmelt adhesive layer, the other is the barrier layer such as Polyurethane film, PVC film, Nylon taffeta, nylon tricot and so on.

· As HiMEL®seam sealing tape offers the perfect water resistance over 14psi and eliminates wrinkle problem, it has been widely used in various application including outerwear, industrial work wear, tents, waders, footwear and military garments and gear.

Retro-Reflective Technique

Retro-reflective material is made by the consistent arrangement of glass beads of a certain size on various clothing like T/C, poly cloth, thermoplastic film, or PVC seats.

These glass beads can be especially coated to control their degree of retro-reflectivity, and can be made of various colors and used in various applications.

Retro-reflective material is used in night-time walking, industrial safety products, or for fireproofing products. It has also been recently applied to fashion products that need to satisfy safety issues.
