Hendrik-Jan Laseur provides strategy advice, leadership workshops and coaching to impact-driven executives and boards. His firm, Lead the Change, works with financial institutions, companies, NGO’s, philanthropic foundations and the United Nations. Since its establishment in 2010, the firm has had assignments in the US, the Middle East, Asia, and throughout Europe.

Prior to establishing his current business, Hendrik-Jan was principal advisor to the executive director of UNICEF in New York. He worked for ABN AMRO in Tokyo, Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam and Zurich, including roles as personal secretary to the chairman of the bank, and as a member of the executive committee of ABN AMRO Switzerland.

Hendrik-Jan is an economist (Groningen, Rotterdam), holds an MBA from INSEAD, and is fluent in Dutch, English, German and French. He is an alumnus of the Prince of Wales’s Business and Environment Programme.

He enjoys sailing with his wife and two young children on their 1933-built wooden ship, “Hallowe’en.”
