YMCA Ryder House is more than just a home. Our dedicated Housing Support Workers help residents address
their individual issues or problems, developing vital life skills. We support each resident to gain training, work or
volunteer opportunities. We empower them to live independently as a valued member of the community.
Residents are actively engaged in decision making, running residents’ meetings and contributing to the
housing community.

Enabling young people to gain vocational & life skills and accredited qualificationsSkilled trainers, key workers and tutors provide one to one intensive support, building confidence, addressing problems and overcoming barriers to learning, such as behavioural or emotional issues. Our centre in Tonbridge offers different vocational skills and support. We'd love to discuss with you how we can make a difference to your education.
