Hello Inspire Families, Inspire Martial Arts is pleased to announce that we are reopening for in-person classes on Wednesday, June 17 th . Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and the related state and local health orders, our class schedule has been changed and we have modified our procedures to follow social distancing and other new safety rules. This document outlines the major changes as of June 17 th . Scroll down if you want to skip to our new schedule and instructions on how students can attend our new in-person classes. To start with, here is a list of the most important points: Class size will be limited to 10-12 students per mat, depending on the room. Each student will be assigned a square on the mat clearly outlined with tape that is 7 foot by 7 foot, with an additional 2-foot buffer zone around it. This will ensure that each student has enough space for their lessons while maintaining more than the required social distance between everyone on the mat. All students who attend in-person classes will either have 1 or 2 assigned class times per week, depending on their membership. Assigned classes will ensure that we can accommodate all students who come to attend class at their assigned times. All students attending must reserve their spots ahead of time using the ZenPlanner app or website, so that we can better plan and allocate for our classes. How to reserve your spot is explained below. The Inspire Online Discord server will continue to operate and have regular updates with video lessons, online tip testing and chat with instructors and other students. Students who wish to continue to train online only are welcome to do so. If you have not yet visited our server, please contact us via [email protected] so that we can send you a new invitation. For now, we will not hold in-person classes on Mondays, because Monday will be set aside for making new recordings for online classes. See our new class schedule below. Class length for in-person classes has been shortened to 30 minutes for most students, or 25 minutes for Tigers. This is necessary to ensure that we can hold enough classes throughout the day to serve our students while following social distancing rules. We will reevaluate our schedule and class lengths to adjust for demand and any changes to the health orders in the weeks and months to follow. All students who attend in-person classes, and anyone else visiting our dojo, must wear face coverings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, as per current health orders. We cannot make exceptions to this rule, but we are happy to help anyone who has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing face coverings by directing them to our online resources.

All students should have received or should soon receive an email like this one:

If you have not done so already, make sure to log in to your Inspire Martial Arts account at ZenPlanner. If the login doesn’t work or if you did not receive one, then let us know and we will help you as quickly as possible. Important note: The App for ZenPlanner is only needed if you are using a mobile device. If you are using a computer, then access your account on the web at https://bmadojo.zenplanner.com

On a computer, your login screen will look like this:

After logging in, your next stop should be the Calendar tab:

This calendar is for a teen member who is assigned to classes on Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:10 pm. If future dates on your calendar are empty, that means that classes have not been assigned to you yet. In this example, the teen has not yet reserved a class.

We are going to click on the June 17th class in order to reserve it:

Click on the Reserve button, as pictured, to let us know that you intend to come to that class. You can reserve a class up to 8 days ahead. Make sure to reserve every class that you plan to attend!
