The PASTE Methodology In Hekima’s experience everyone wants to do the right thing and everyone ultimately wants to be successful. The measure of success varies greatly from individual to individual, from group to group and from corporate to corporate. The PASTE methodology follows 5
principles that if done with discipline will allow you to identify issues, formulate resolutions and delivery those resolutions and return your business back to doing business as quickly as possible. Most problem statements are obvious from the “product does not meet requirements” to “our service quality is breaching our SLA”.
However today’s executive management teams are solution orientated and actually identifying, agreeing upon and formulating a communication package for a problem can prove tricky. The EMT usually step into solutions and push these as the problems. The PASTE methodology allows you to stay in control as you work through the steps. At the Target step you will target all those scoped pieces of work needs to resolve the route causes of the problem. The execution step is controlled delivery of the project charters ensuring the receiving workforce are inspired to accept the change brought by the projects.
Hekima are Prince2 Practitioner certified as we deem it the best methodology for driving projects to completion on time and as specified. A Prince2 project manager is engaged to execute the
project charter, to communicate project progress to all stakeholders and to ask for help when he knows he will exceed his delegated authority. Above all a Prince2 project continually evaluates the business case ensure the project still makes financial & operational sense.
