ACO DRAIN® Multiline HD Seal in
Heavy duty made easy. Integrated seal as standard.
2
The new Multiline HD combines the tried-and-tested Seal in technology with a
more-robust channel body and a reinforced cast iron frame. This allows surface
coverings to be laid directly next to the system up to load class D400.
HD (Heavy Duty) refers to reinforced channel bodies within a product family.

The ACO Group
The ACO Group is a world market leader in drainage technology. Climate change sets us a challenge to react effectively with innovative solutions to new environ-mental conditions. With its integrated approach, ACO stands for professional drainage, efficient cleaning, and the controlled discharge or reuse of water. Products include drainage channels and drains, oil and grease separators, backflow stop systems, pumps and pressurewater-tight cellar windows and light shafts.
The family-owned company head-quartered in Rendsburg/Büdelsdorf, Germany, was founded in 1946 on the site of the Carlshütte foundry – Schle-swig-Holstein’s first industrial company. It still has very strong roots in the region. The major innovation strength of the ACO Group is built on intense research and development, and its technical expertise in processing polymer concrete, plastic, cast iron, stainless steel and reinforced concrete.

ACO DRAIN® Multiline HD Seal in

The E 600-class Multiline HD Seal in system is the successor to the previous Multiline system with cast iron edge pro-tection. During the development of the channel system, special attention was paid to its practical application in areas in which lorries and heavy goods vehi-cles operate. The suffix HD comprises a reinforced channel drain with a 12-mm cast iron edge. In heavy-duty industrial applications with a load class of up to D 400, surface coverings can be laid

directly next to the ACO Multiline HD Seal in system. The asphalt base course is laid all the way up to the cast iron frame and the framing Block of the pavement is installed directly next to the cast iron frame. The Multiline HD with Seal in technology also adds a nice touch to the design of open spaces. The cast iron gratings with longitudinal bars open up new opportunities.

Direct installationIn application areas with a load class of up to
D 400, surface coverings can be laid directly next to
the ACO drainage systems. This gives rise to econom-
ic, structural and visual benefits for building owners
and processors.
Strong side wallThe channel bodies feature a reinforced design.
Nevertheless, they are easy to handle thanks to
polymer concrete.
SealingThanks to the Seal in technology,
the combination of the ACO polymer concrete with the
seal ensures a leak-tight channel run as standard. It is
tested and certified by the german IKT (Institute for
Underground Infrastructure).
Grating product range
A wide range of covers in numerous designs, colours
and materials – e.g. made from galvanised or stainless
steel, cast iron or plastic – provides sufficient creative
scope for individual planning and design.
Cast iron frameThe 12-mm wide cast iron frame and the reinforced
channel body allow for efficient installation. When
installed in combination with cast iron gratings, the
drainage channel adds a nice touch in garden and
landscaping applications.

Technical information – Channel bodies
ACO DRAIN® Multiline is based on a system
concept that offers benefits to everyone, from
planners and merchants to building contractors
and building owners.
Planners save time when tendering, as the
Multiline system concept allows for a high level
of standardisation in the interfaces.
Merchants benefit from the streamlined product
range. Building owners are happy with the
sophisticated design and construction solu-
tions. In application areas with a load class of
up to D 400, surface coverings can be installed
directly next to the Multiline HD Sealin.

ACO polymer concrete -a better ideaThe special material composition and state-of-the-art productiontechnology give polymer concrete its outstanding propertiesprofile. ACO polymer concrete products have high strength valu-es and a low weight. ACO polymer concrete is waterproof.Water dries quickly. Frost damage is excluded. The smoothsurface of ACO polymer concrete allows water and dirt particlesto run off quickly and is easy to clean. Polymer concrete is alsoresistant to aggressive media without requiring additionalcoatings and can be used versatilely and durably even underextreme conditions.
ACO materials
In the design of components and structural elements, the choice of suitable material determines
the aesthetic and functional qualities of the product. The materials used by ACO are characterised
by their strength, ageing resistance and their resistance to aggressive media, frost, heat and
sunlight. Thanks to their long life and recyclability, they are equally sustainable and environmentally
compatible and are used in an application-orientated way.
Polymer concreteWith 30 production locations worldwide,we consistently implement our ideas of product quality, economic efficiency and on-time delivery to our customers. Each of our factories has special materials expertise, from which the entire ACO Group profits. Keeping our production technology and ecological performance up-to-date and in line with the latest standards is part of our standardof acting responsibly as a companyand to be a worldwide leader.

ACO cast iron –quality for all standardsThe types of cast iron used by ACO Guss in Kaiserslautern andAarbergen are adapted to the continuously increasing require-ments through intensive innovation and development processes:Both cast iron with lamellar graphite (grey cast iron GJL) andcast iron with nodular graphite (spheroidal cast iron GJS) haveproven their worth as materials for use in cast iron sewers dueto their high corrosion resistance. ACO Guss offers the opti-mum solution for the respective application, independent of the material.
ACO plastic – innovative and flexibleComponents made of plastic offer the greatest possible designfreedom with regard to form and function. We use this poten-tial to avoid expensive material combinations and time-consum-ing jointing processes and to develop intelligent solutions “cast in one piece” to take their place. The plastics used by ACO arecharacterised not only by their high breaking stress (crushingstrength) but also by their outstanding resistance to environ-mental influences. Simple machining options and low weight are the reasons for the outstanding user-friendliness of our plastic solutions.

ACO steel/stainless steel – sophisticated componentsThe processing of both steel and stainless steel is a core expertise of ACO in the different production facilities of the ACO Group worldwide. Large investment sums ensure that our production facilities are always state-ofthe-art. The high qualifi-cation of our skilled workers ensure highquality products. Our own in-house plants for surface protection and finishing are used, among other things, in the production of ACO Drainlockgratings.

ACO concrete – durable and reliableConcrete is a material that plays a decisive role in tank con-struction for separator and drainage technology. ACO tanks for drainage technology are made from a highly waterproof con-crete, have a very high resistance and stability. The tanks can be used as separators, pumping stations, accident (spillage) systems or special chambers and can also be equipped with a plastic coating or lining. ACO tanks made of concrete are a durable solution for the drainage and treatment of water.
