• Purchase 1000 hardware items and receive a 10% discount

Item Discount Groups
Accounts receivable > Setup > Price/discount > Item discount groups
Inventory > Setup > Price/discount > Item discount groups
Customer Price/Discount Groups
Accounts receivable > Setup > Price/discount > Customer price/discount groupsInventory > Setup > Price/discount > Customer price/discount groups
Setting up Trade Agreements
• Trade agreements can be set up from the “Item discount group” or from the “Customer price/discount group”
• Select the form with the least amount of groups
Setting up Trade Agreements
• Select the customer group • Select the Trade agreement button• Set up the line discounts
Linking Price/Discount Group to a Customer
Accounts receivable > Customer > Sales order tab > Multi-line discount field
Link the Discount Group to the Item
Inventory > Item > Price/Discount tab > Multi-line discount field
Activate the Trade Agreement
Accounts receivable > Setup > Price/Discount > Activate price/discount
The Sales Order
• Enter SO for customer in multi-line discount group: Dist• Enter lines for items in multi-line discount group: LFIX• Enter lines for item in multi-line discount group: LMBR• Select Calculation > Multi-line discount to activate• A $5 discount is calculated for each LFIX line because more than
100 are being purchased.
Note: For demonstration purposes, this screen has been slightly modified. The multi-line discount fields have been moved from the Price/Discount tab to the Lines tab.
