Panelist will discuss the current childhood obesity problem including tips for attendees on nutrition, fitness and sports, and balanced lifestyle habits for getting and staying fit and healthy. WHY: Giant aims to help families in the communities it serves to foster health awareness and reinforce positive eating habits in children. As a long-time advocate for childhood health, Giant offers the help of in-store nutritionists and resources like Passport to Nutrition, a fun, interactive program that provides the necessary tools to educate kids about nutrition and living healthy lifestyles both at home and at school.
