WHERE TOMORROW’S HEALTHCARE IS CREATED At the initiative of Castres-Mazamet Technopole BIC, the eHealth Summer University will again bring together, from the 6th to the 8th of July 2016 in Castres at the ISIS Engineering School (the only French school focused exclusively on eHealth), more than 700 participants, key players and decision-makers from the healthcare/social and technological innovation sectors to discuss the state of the art in the use of digital technologies and applications in the field of health and well-being.The originality of this professional rendez-vous is to apprehend eHealth across its entire breadth: from the place of social networks in healthcare to the latest technological innovations, not forgetting connected objects in healthcare, innovation funding, the impact of eHealth on the relationship with the patient and regulatory aspects.

The eHealth Summer University has become a major event in the eHealth diary, the quality of the speakers and the campus spirit appeal to a steadily growing, informed and faithful audience who come back each year to extend their international horizons.

THE LAND OF HEALTHCARE 3.0The Castres-Mazamet Conurbation has for many years been firmly committed to the development of the digital and healthcare sectors, thanks to the presence of industrial stakeholders (Pierre Fabre Laboratories, Consort NT, IMS Networks …) and public stakeholders (Castres-Mazamet Intercommunal Hospital Centre, ISIS School of Engineering, Technopole). This explains why it has all the traits of an open-air laboratory, located in a catchment area on a human scale, providing tremendous possibilities for experimentation to open the way tomorrow to new answers to the needs of our society in the fields of healthcare and issues linked with ageing.To build on and share these strengths, Castres-Mazamet organizes since 2015 the Grand Prize of eHealth Start-Up Implementation.
