Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Social Responsibility (HSEQ & SR) Policy

Petroplan is a recruitment specialist for the oil, gas and energy industry with expertise encompassing upstream, midstream and downstream, greenfield and brownfield, early oil production, full field development and expansion projects. We provide industry professionals for a wide range of owners, operators, consultancies and EPC companies.

The company is committed to working with staff, clients, candidates, contractors and sub-contractors to achieve the highest standards

in HSEQ & SR across the business and reducing the risks associated with our activities to be as low as reasonably practical.

To deliver this we have established an integrated quality management system based on our commitment to:

• Hold Senior Management accountable for the company’s

HSEQ & SR performance and for the implementation of the

HSEQ & SR Policy.

• Make HSEQ & SR performance an integral part of our

business decision making process.

• Prepare annual plans to enhance and improve the company’s

HSEQ & SR performance.

• Ensure the risks associated with our activities are identified,

assessed and mitigated to be as low as reasonably practical.

• Work with clients and contractors to minimise risks to

personnel contracted through Petroplan and minimise

environmental impact.

• Apply good industry standards across all our business activities.

• Comply with applicable HSEQ laws and regulations.

• Investigate incidents and near misses and ensure effective

corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.

• Prepare systems and procedures to effectively respond to both

client and internal emergencies.

• Ensure staff are trained and encouraged to contribute ideas

that will improve safety and quality around our activities as well

as environmental performance.

• Review our HSEQ & SR performance regularly and

communicate progress to our stakeholders. This includes an

annual review and update of the HSEQ & SR Policy.

• Develop our profile as a respected, professional and valued

member of the community.

• Demonstrate commitment and drive for continuous

improvement in health, safety, environment and quality through

training and ongoing communication with staff.

• Empower staff and contractors to stop any work activity in the

event of an unacceptable risk of accident, poor quality work or

environmental incident.

• Apply the principles of sound business ethics and respect the

protection of internationally recognised human rights for all.
