Day 1 – Saturday, September 15 - Arrival in Bali and transfer to the Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort our partner hotel and where you stay during the Bali Nations Cup 2012.

Day 2 – Sunday, September 16 – We visit a temple and witness the traditional Barong dance. From there we travel to the Kintamani region where the villages of Kintamani and Penelokan offer a great view of the still active Mount Batur and its fantastic Lake Batur. Rest of the afternoon at the pool or at the beach.

Day 3 – Monday, September 17 - Practice round at New Kuta Golf to acclimatize to the tropics followed by the official welcoming party at New Kuta Golf and handing out of the goodie bags and tournament rules.

Day 4 – Tuesday, September 18 – Yoga classes by a teacher from the island’s preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. This Yoga session will teach you how to concentrate of every golf shot., in Bali or later at home. After lunch we visit the Tanah Lot temple grounds.

Day 5 – Wednesday, September 19 - First round at Nirwana Bali Golf Club.

NIRWANA BALI GOLF CLUBNirwana Bali Golf Club needs no further introduction. For more than one decade, this Greg Norman designed championship golf course has been recognized internationally as one of Asia’s, if not the world’s finest layouts. If not in Bali, where else in the world can golfers play a course that crosses rushing streams, meanders through rice terraces and offers spectacular views of spectacular temples and of the Indian Ocean? Holes #6, #7, #12, #13 and #14 are some of the most dramatic sea-side holes in modern golf. Take in Bali’s rich culture on the breathtakingly dramatic par 3 hole #7 signature hole that offers a view on Bali’s most recognized land-mark Tanah Lot Temple. Four sets of tees provides every golfer with an ideal combination of challenge and enjoyment. The distinctive Greg Norman bunkering protects many of the greens and this is especially noticeable on many of the wonderful par four holes.

Day 8 – Saturday, September 22 – Third round at New Kuta Golf Club.

NEW KUTA GOLFNew Kuta Golf surely is recognized as one of the best “new” courses in Asia. Home to the Indonesia Open 2009, first and foremost the New Kuta Golf layout was designed as a championship course. The ample choice in tee boxes and pin positions allows for the set up as a resort course or as a challenging championship layout. The front nine plays inland, while the back nine plays towards the Indian Ocean where, especially on the sea-side holes #12, #13, #14, #15 and #16, prevailing wind may severely influence your game and score.Before you walk off the green of hole #14 and/or #15, make sure to walk to the very edge of the cliff to take a peek on the surf some 30 meters below. It truly is spectacular.New Kuta Golf is home to some long uphill holes that become a real challenge when the wind is up. The par 5 finishing hole is long and difficult. When the position of your approach shot is way to the right, the green is hidden behind some trees that will surely block your view into the putting surface.

Day 9 – Sunday, September 23 – Fourth and final round at Nirwana Bali Golf Club followed by prize giving ceremony and farewell party at Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort.

Day 6 – Thursday, September 20 – Second round at Bali Handara.

BALI HANDARAMention the name Bali Handara and more often than not seasoned and well-traveled golfers will say “WOW”, that’s an awesome course. First inducted into the book of the World’s 50 Best Courses in 1987, this Central Bali Highland course is steeped in golf history that dates back many decades. Any golfer that comes to Bali, really hasn’t played golf in Bali, if he or she hasn’t played the course that is situated in a 300-year extinct volcanic crater and that is located some 1000 meters above sea level. And although it offers bright sunshine rounds most of the time, some days, golfers may well reach for a sweater as temperatures on “cooler” days may drop to around 16 degrees Celsius. Because of the impressive 300 meter-high crater walls that during late afternoon rounds are clad in grey-white clouds - nothing really compares with playing Bali Handara.

Day 7 – Friday, September 21 – Get wet and sweaty. Experience exciting whitewater rafting the Bali way.For non rafting participants there is an option of Elephant Safari or Spa at Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali.

THE TOURNAMENT FORMAT is two times Four Ball matches and two times Foursome matches.

FOUR BALL definition: Four Ball is a match pitting two teams of two players (a total of four balls being played, hence the name) against each other using better ball scoring.All four players play their own ball throughout; at the end of each hole, the low score between the two partners on each team is that team's score. For example; Players A and B form one team. On the first hole player A scores a 5, B scores a 6, so the team score is 5.Four Ball can be played as stroke play or match play and is one of the formats used at the Ryder Cup.

FOURSOME definition: A foursome is also known as alternate shot. Golfers compete in teams of two, using one ball and taking alternate shots until the hole is completed. Team members also take turns in teeing off on each hole, i.e. one player will take the tee shot on odd-numbered holes, and the other on even-numbered holes.Foursomes is commonly played as match play with each hole being won by the team that completes it in the fewest shots. This form of golf is often played in team golf competitions such as the Ryder Cup, Seve Trophy and the Presidents Cup. Foursomes can also be played in stroke play competitions, with the winners being the team who have taken the fewest number of strokes to complete a set number of holes.

Each team exists of 2 players. The official 72-hole tournament competition is a better ball of partner format based on registered and official club handicap and in the following handicap classes;1. Handicap 0 till 10 (official club handicap) - Prizes handed

out to Best Nett and Best Gross 1, 2 and 3.2. Handicap 10 to 20 (official club handicap) – Prizes

handed out to Best Nett and Best Gross 1, 2 and 3. 3. NO PRESSURE, JUST FUN class with handicap 20 to 28 for

men, and 20 to 36 for women and based on honesty and honor. Prizes handed out to Best Nett 1, 2 and 3.
