HDMA teams up with NACDS to examine RFID.

Frequency Identification )

ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) is

cosponsoring the RFID Health Care Industry Adoption Summit, which will be held from

November 13 through November 16 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City here.

The event is billed as the first-ever educational summit devoted to radio frequency identification

implementation across the entire pharmaceutical supply chain. The other cosponsor is the the

National Association of Chain Drug Stores.

The conference will explore RFID implementation strategies for improving product security and

enhancing public safety. It will educate attendees on RFID technologies that can be used to
