    Goals

    To meet the Presidents challenge for our agencies to work together tocoordinate our policies, programs and resources to encourage and fullyassist rural, suburban, and urban areas to build sustainable communities,and to make sustainable communities the leading style of development inthe United States.

    To work together to identify opportunities to build more sustainablecommunities and to remove policy or other barriers that have keptAmericans from doing so.
