By the end of 2015, the value of China’s commercial real estate totaled USD 806 billion, second only to the United States. In 2016, the total area for China’s commercial space will reach 430 million square meters. By 2018, the annual supply of commercial complexes will remain at about 1,200 in China. The growing popularity of the internet and e-commerce is reshaping commercial space. The appeal to customers of “homogeneous” architecture and design is decreasing day by day. One of the keys to success for any commercial property amongst fierce competition is to give more weight to the people-oriented design for commercial building and to enhance the customer experience.

The owners of new or refurbished commercial space are increasingly asking for innovative materials that unite functionality and aesthetic, which creates major opportunities for the suppliers of building materials.

本届地产设计大奖.中国组委会收到来自中国、中国香港、中国台湾、美国、英国、德国、日本、迪拜、澳大利亚、新加坡、加拿大等国，共计88家参赛机构，217份参选作品，77个作品入围，最终由评选出杭州万科紫台、上海环球港、海珀·黄浦、乐天世界购物城等优秀获奖作品。

The Real Estate Design China Award is a new prominent award in China real estate industry. After two years’ development, The Real Estate Design China Award has been well received and highly praised in the real estate design industry attributing to the authoritative jury members and unique selection process. Major design firms and institutes actively participated. Mr. Xing Tonghe, the Senior Chief Architect of Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design(Group) was chairman of jury board and two academicians of China National Engineering Reserch Institute served as academic judges. The jury board members were 20 delegates from leading China real estate development companies.

This year, the organizing committee received 217 entries and 77 finalists presented by totally 88 participating organizations from China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), the U.S.A, the UK, Germany, Japan, UAE, Australia, Singapore, Canada etc. Finally, VANKE Glorious Palace, Hangzhou, Global Harbor Shanghai, Hysun Chairman and Lotte World Mall were awarded as the best design projects.

Expo Build for Commercial Properties 2017 and Shanghai Hospitality Design & Engineering Expo 2017, is organized by China Tourism Hotel Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibiton Co., Ltd. As an important part of Hotel Plus - Total Solution For Commercial Properties, the Expo not only pools the abundant buyer resources of the hospitality industry, but also expands into commercial space by bringing together commercial space developers, owners and designers. As “safety”, “energy-saving” and “environment-friendly” become very important architectural standards of hotel and other commercial space, high-standard engineering system is vital to the building’s functionality. In hall E2, green building and technology systems are presented to provide solutions for supporting facilities of the commercial space. Various onsite activities will be organized including hotel franchise promotion, integrated housing design competition, hotel mockup room show and engineering technology forums to showcase the innovative design concept of commercial space and the latest technology.

上海酒店工程及商业空间系列展是专为酒店，商场，餐厅，办公楼，医院等各类商业空间而特别打造的大型专业性博览会，全面展示建筑与装饰，工程与设计，空间与陈设，照明与灯饰，软装与家具等产品，2017年预计将有2000家供应商和10万专业观众参加，展会总面积将达到20万平米。

HOTEL PLUS - Total Solution For Commercial Properties is a large-scale professional expo

specially held for hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, office buildings, hospitals and other

commercial spaces. It will showcase architectural ornament, engineering design, space

furnishings, furniture, soft decoration, lighting & light-fixture, etc. All together 2,000 suppliers

and 100,000 professional visitors will attend the HOTEL PLUS 2017, which covers a total exhibition

area of 200,000 square meters.
