throughout the three counties and assess the current status of leadership and engagement. [if

Expanding the use of best practice parent engagement strategies proposed in this application

we will reduce health and other disparities among low-income, communities of color, rural and

other underserved communities in the region. By strengthening and increasing the

engagement, participation, leadership and decision-making role of parents in our program we

will improve health and educational outcomes for children.
