(Sourcing- Production & Quality of DIP & Sports Shoe Upper)– Bata Shoe

Company (Bangladesh) Limited.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handling out sourcing through identification of cost effective suppliers with

an aim of improving quality & reliability,

• Co-ordinate to all related departments (Buyer, PD, Costing, Purchase, stock

etc) for proper support & smooth production.

• Taking the weekly production quantity from planner & buyer, taking sample,

specification guide, template, knives from PD Dept., analyzing the capacity,

article & quantity disribute to the suppliers, supplier wise production planning,

prepare PO, setting target for suppliers, make the supplier understand the

production procedure of the product, ensure in time goods supply.

• Production Follow up- Manupulation & Layer cutting with cutting direction

of material for proper utilization of materials, article wise sewing line set up,

sewing process control & checking, follow up of proper screen print procedure,

applying check points & controling tools for better control.

• Regular auditing (Quality, Compliance, Inventory etc).

• Priority basis article support to sales channel to fulfill market demand.

• Negotiate with buyer & planner for freezed quantity against capacity, with

costing department for proper materials consumption & rate settlement, follow

up purchase/ware house department for issuing proper materials as per sample.

• Maintain BSO standard operation procedure & product quality in all

associates, give any kinds of technical support.

• Implement BSO code of conduct (Child labor, Health & Safety,

Discrimination, Disciplinary Practices, Working Hours, Management Systems)

to associates' factories.
