W.G Davis’ MYP students no longer gain automatic acceptance
Key Dates
Online Application OPENS: Monday November 11, 2019
Online Application DUE: Wednesday November 25, 2019
First round of offers to the program will be emailed to successful applicants on: Thursday
Dec 5, 2019
Students will only receive I.B. offers on this day. If students apply to multiple programs, they
will have to wait for other program choices. Subsequent rounds of offers will be sent to
students on the waitlist as spaces become available.
Starting this year, all of the IB spaces will be filled before any of the other program offers
go out. If you accept an IB offer you WILL NOT be offered a spot at a different program
later on.
Regional Program Offers
We are offering 116 spots in our IB program
First round offers must be accepted no later than 3:00 pm on Wednesday December 11, 2019
If a student does not accept their spot by Wednesday December 11 the spot will be offered to another student on Thursday December 12
Once a student makes program decisions, they cannot change their mind and accept a spot in different regional program. This includes EHS offers
This means whichever program you accept an offer from is the program you will attend in September 2020
IB schools will send second round offers on Thursday December 12, which must be accepted no later than 3:00 pm on Wednesday December 18
Offers of Acceptance
To accept an offer, you will need to reply by the deadline to the offer email you receive.
When you confirm program participation, you will be asked to pay your program fees.
Directions will be provided.
Students will only be officially admitted into the program once program fees are received.
Fees will be paid online using a third-party service provider.
Regional Program Placement
All successful Peel student applicants will be placed in IB by January 10th 2020
Any out of region (not living in Peel Region) student applicants may be offered a spot
