Harman Handgrip on Digger Lever

Tracks and Chain painted

The right side as completed

She finally has a new seat

Hear she is and she is looking good

The new muffler constructionI Went to Harvey Briggs Welding & Radiator shop located in Charlestown/

Ranson, West Virginia and bought some pieces of metal and I cut out the pieces with the plasma cutter

I first cut a square piece of metal and welded it into the center of

the 5 inch pipe

I next took a slug (END PIECE) and fitted it inside

I next tacked the coupling to the end plate and left a good inch inside between the end of the coupling

and the baffle plate

I screwed in the piece pf pipe to keep welding slag off the inside threads of the coupling

I next welded the inlet end in real good

Here I have welded the outlet pipe to the end plate and chucked it into the lathe so

as to hit it with a hammer and get it somewhat inline (TRUED it UP)

I have it trued up and welded but good now to spin her around and make a final good looking heavy duty

muffler

You would be surprised what a good

ole country boy can do with a little time on his hands

Another look at a 3 hour muffler

I am not going to screw it on yetI am going over to Briggs’ and see if it passes his ok(

Come on Harvey give it the once over)

Here she is painted and with NEW DECALS

Grilles were a real piece of workHarvey Briggs helped once again as he supplied the metal to make the bending jig

to form the bends on the grilles

Panel has a new volt meter now as of Saturday the 21st. Of March

Hood hammered out somewhatGrilles missing

Seat metal was straightened and primed

This thing was a sick puppy when I Found her
