Something for everyone at the Library’s 50th
birthday celebration!
Festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. with displays, movies, crafts for
kids, and programs for adults. Activities continue into the
evening with cake, food, and music!

A short business meeting will be held to receive reports, elect
officers for 2019-20, and conduct other business as needed. It
will be followed by refreshments and the program. Please
come and bring family and friends!
Program: “Storyteller Paul Akert: Harry Potter”
Bay View storyteller Paul Akert is well known for his portrayal
of Kris Kringle, but this retired registered nurse has other
stories in his bag. At our General Meeting Paul will be taking
us into the world of Harry Potter.

The Trinity Irish Dancers
Sunday, March 10: 1:30—2:30 p.m.
Community Room
No registration needed; all ages are welcome
Join the Trinity Irish Dancers for a celebration of Irish dance and
culture! The show will highlight local New Berlin dancers of all
ages. After the 30 minute performance, stay for an interactive
lesson where you can learn the Irish jig.

party in town! We’ll be celebrating Pi Day and Albert Einstein’s
birthday on Thursday, March 14 (pi, the ratio of a circle’s
circumference to its diameter, is 3.14...get it?). We will have
Pi-themed crafts and activities, and of course, pie!
All ages are welcome!

with autism. Three 60-minute moderated panels will present
information and resources relevant to parents. Various vendors
and resources will be available throughout the event.

An introduction to autism, including diagnosis information and

How to navigate the school system and ensure a great education
experience for your child.
Autism 103: Ask Me Anything
Open Q & A forum with experienced parents of children with
autism.

Mindfulness is the state of
mental calmness achieved by
focusing your awareness on the
present moment and accepting
your feelings, thoughts, and
sensations. Regular practice of
being mindful through meditation has proven to have a positive
effect on overall health and reduces stress levels significantly.
Join us at the library throughout 2019 as we learn to find
