Klaus Senss died on August 12, after a brief hospitalization. Klaus was 81. He and his wife, Joyce, joined God’s Love in 2005.

After Joyce’s death in October 2019, Klaus’ family moved him to a long-term care facility in Broomall, PA. Funeral arrangements will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

Weston Leroy Packer, son of Megan and Ed Packer, grandson of Karen and Todd Orr, and great grandson of Barbara Haegele, was born on August 6 in Florida.

Congratulations to the extended family!

Dear Friends,

Many thanks to each one of you for your notes of caring and encouragement. It’s always good to remember we are on this faith journey together and your keeping in touch is a good reminder.

To all of you, in hopes of seeing you soon, Peace, prayers and love. —Dorothy Wagner

God’s Love has sent out hundreds of cards to members during the COVID shutdown. These cards are written by volunteers from within the congregation, as well as the greater community. Blank cards are available in the church lobby if you would like to participate in this important ministry.

Our annual School Supplies Drive continues. Donations can be placed in the box in the church lobby (open 24/7). We are accepting donations throughout August, but greatly appreciate efforts to donate by TODAY, Sunday, August 16 to allow for planning and distribution to local charities.

This year we are also accepting gift cards to BestBuy or Office Max in anticipation of the need for electronics for remote learning. Please deliver or mail gift cards directly to the church office.

Thanks to the generous donations coordinated by Neighbor in Need. We are so grateful for this partnership and ask God’s blessing on those that donated and those that will receive these donations. Questions? Contact Andi Webber at [email protected]

Looking for a home…

…for this 92” sofa and/or a matching 68” love seat. They are currently in the office where Vicar Brandi Hebert will be moving on August 26, so we would like them picked up by then, if possible.

There is no set price, but a donation would be appreciated.

AHTN Shared Meals Are Back!

We will be providing a TO-GO dinner on our regularly scheduled 5th Saturday of the month, August 29. The AHTN van driver will pick up the meals and deliver them to the homeless and those in need. No guests will be coming to the church.

To donate food, use this link: AHTN Shared To-Go Meal Signup

Everyone deserves a hot meal every day. Let’s help make that happen.
