Box 2665 Giilette, Wyoming 82717-2665 Events that often happen, whether they are good or bad, often serve to remind us of God's ever presence. And often when we think of Him being right there, it changes our outlook on the events surrounding us. That is what Jonathan and I strive to remember, that God is EVER there and that He is in control. Praise the Lord for that! For every thing that we think and do, it should serve only to glorify our loving Father in heaven. Our last month was a time of joy and some trials mingled in. Jonathan and his dad, Al, were able to travel to Pennsylvania for the orientation they were leading for the team going to Bratislava, Slovakia. They are quite sure that the team is ready to go and quite eager as well. They had a good time rejoicing and teaching these young women and young man about what missions is all about and what is expected of them in their year of schooling in Slovakia. The team is leaving around the 19th of August and will fly to Budapest so Kevin Maclnturff to meet them and take them to Bratislava. Please remember them in your prayers for their safe travels and for the opportunities that they will have. Jonathan and Al were glad to report that a good time was had by all at the orientation. After the orientation, Jonathan had a doctor's appointment in Michigan, so he thought that he would be home right after that, but was he? No! He had a bit of a cold when he left here for the orientation, and with him on the go, it turned into pnuemonia and he also had an infection in his lungs. So the doctor ordered him on two weeks of Iv therapy and antibiotics. We were so thankful that there was a family that opened their home to us (I flew out to be with him) and made us feel right at home. So a big thank-you goes out to the Dave and Laurie Hildreth family for their kind hospitality and love that was shown. We are so thankful for your prayers that have been offered up on Jonathan's behalf. For now he is resting up and I am trying to make him take it easier before our summer travelling begins! As I mentioned in the beginning of this letter, events happen that make us aware of the fact that God is always there, that is so true. We are reminded daily that God has something special in store for Jonathan because of the continuing strength that God grants him every day. We want to thank you all again for the prayers and for the support that you all have been so faithful with. Please be in prayer for these matters: 1. Bratislava, Slovakia and the team going. 2. Jonathan's health and our travels this summer. Please be assured that you all are in our thoughts and prayers daily. May God continue to richly bless you as you serve Him, Your Servants, A Service of Outreach international

MISSIONARY MOTIVATION MINISTRY

JULY 1994

Nehemiah 8:10 "...Do not be grieved, for the joy of theLord is your strength."

We can rejoice about so many blessings that the Lord has givenus. It is so good to have the joy of the Lord fill our livesin every situation that we find ourselves in. May God beglorified in ALL things I!

We rejoice with the team from Penn State University who areplanning to leave for Bratislava, Slovakia around the 20th ofAugust. George, Marianne, Sue Ellen and Jerrilynn are all readyand anxious to get there and to share Christ with the peoplethat live in SLovakia. Pray that things will go well and thatthe transition will go smoothly as they prepare to be students. Also, be in prayer for the new contacts that will be made asthey arrive.

We rejoice about the opportunities that Sheila and I have hadto travel and share with people a small part of the burden wehave for lost people around the world. The past three monthshave been exciting with camps, speaking and recovering frompneumonia, meeting new people, all of these things have beenrewarding to us. The high school camp in Slippery Rock, PAwent well. There are several people who showed interest inmissions and we pray that we will see them overseas sometimein the near future.

Dad and I had a very nice time together traveling to Riverton,Wyoming last weekend. I preached at the Christian Church there. It was especially nice to have Dad with me as we are usuallytraveling in different directions so it was nice to be togetheron a trip again.

We are enjoying a brief respite from our traveling, and willbe home for a little over a week and a half before we start

out on the 23rd. We have a few more speaking appointmentslike V.B.S's and camps. Pray that people will raise up to servein every country of the world.

Southeast Asia has really opened up and we can place as manypeople as will volunteer to be students or to teach Englishas a second language in that part of the world. Our team thispast year has found the door to be wide open I Let's get upand go to these areas while the opportunity is there. The onlyreason why the world is not reached with the Gospel of Christis because so few people want to go and tell them. Everyonehas their reasons why not to go, but do we realize that onjudgment day we will be giving God the same reasons? Let'squit finding reasons why we can't go and start believing thatGod meant what He said when He gave us the command to go inMatthew 28:19-20.

We love you and pray for you. Thanks for all your faithfulnessand support as we find recruits and willing hearts to serve! If you would like for us to come and speak to your Church andupdate you on our work and plans, please let us know.

Again, thank-you for all of your prayers and love!

Your Servants,

Jonathan and Sheila Hamilton

Dear Friends,

It has been a wonderful and busy summer for us. We havereally enjoyed seeing everyone, old friends and making new ones.We had a great time at Martelle Christian Church at theirVacation Bible School. The people were very generous and theEhresmans were so good to put up with us and to take care ofus. Thank-you all again.

Dick Smith organized a real exciting week of camp inWashington, Indiana, We had a great time being a part of thatweek. We praise God for the decisions that were made duringthat time. Thank-you Dick for inviting us to come.

Even though we have a few people already planning to goto Southeast Asia this January, we are still looking for more.We still need recruits for Europe, Africa, China, Russia andseveral other areas. Continue to pray the Lord of the harvestto send more laborers into the fields. We also pray that thepeople will respond to the call.

The Bratislava team arrived in Budapest, Hungary and planto travel to Bratislava the 8th of September. They are gettingsome cultural orientation from our missionary, Kevin Maclnturff. They are getting ready to start their year of language studiesand evangelism. Continue to pray for them and for opportunitiesthat they will have. I am sure that Kevin and his family wouldappreciate your prayers as he continues the work there inBudapest and as he takes care of the Bratislava team.

Sheila and I are enjoying a couple of weeks at home beforewe take off for a month of traveling. We will be spending aweekend in Arizona before we start east. We have to be inMichigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia and then to Peoria, Illinoisfor the Missionary Convention, at the end of October. Pleasepray for our safe travels and that we would boldly preach themessage God has given us as we recruit for all these unreachedcountries. We are still hoping to move south for the winter.Pray that we will be able to do that. We love you all and praiseGod for you. We pray with you that everyone may have everyonemay have the opportunity to know the surpassing value of knowingChrist Jesus our Lord. PHILLIPIANS 3:8.

Dear Friends and Partners in the Lord,We hope that you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving time withyour family and friends. Sheila and I enjoyed our holidaytogether in our new home. As of the third week of November,we have' been living in the Highland Meadows Christian Churchmissions house, here in Bedford, Texas. They havegraciously allowed us to live here and to do our travelingand recruiting etc. from here. We thank the Lord for andthe Church for providing the house. Being here is an answerto prayer for the warmer weather is better for my healththan those Wyoming winters!!

We want to apologize for not being in contact with you forsuch a long time. We have had the privilege of traveling tomany places during the past two and a half months. We havebeen on the road and haven't been able to get anycorrespondence out until now. We hope you understand, andthank you for your patience.

We had the opportunity to attend a Missions Fair inPrescott, Arizona. We then made the trek up to Michigan..andOhio for speaking engagements. We then had a great weekwith Gayle Confer in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. We then wenton to Kentucky and then to the Missionary Conference inPeoria, Illinois. It was there that the missions committeefrom Bedford invited us to come and live here. The O.I.board and both Sheila and I felt it was a good idea, so wewent home for less than two weeks and then packed a U-Hauland we were off!

We praise the Lord that we were able to talk to manyprospective recruits at the convention. I was able to sharea workshop also this year. We talked to Doug Lucas fromTeam Expansion about working together on a couple ofprojects. We enjoyed talking details and planning. Isn'tit great what God can do?The group in Bratislava, Slovakia are doing great. Theyhave their hands full and recently called asking for Biblesin six different languages! So Gayle Confer organized andsent with the Churches help there the Bibles. That istypical of working in universities, the different languagegroups, and being involved with several.

We are looking for recruits for Albania and Southeast Asia.We desperately need male recruits for these areas. Pleasepray that the Lord will raise up people to heed to God'scalling and get up and go. The harvest is still plentifuland the laborers are few. MT. 9:37

Please continue to pray for the Church in Szeged, Hungary.A team led by the Cocco'year, Lord willing. AlsoSoutheast Asia in January.

s will arrive in the summer of nextpray for the group going to

Sonja is doing our forwarding work there at the Gilletteoffice. All funds will continue to go through the O.I.office. Thanks for taking note of that.

We wish you the best holiday season ever! Thanks for beingbehind us and praying and supporting us. May God bless yourhome this season and everyday! in '95.
