Youth News and Notes!
Teen Devotional: There will be a teen devotional at the home of Paul and Teresa Colvin following the Sunday PM service (July 16th).
Girls/Guys Night: Thursday, July 20th the teen girls are invited to Jarred and Aubrie Sartain’s and the guys to Norman and Esther Ballard’s for Girls/Guys night. You will get a remind text with the time.
Memphis Zoo Trip: Anyone going in to 6th grade or younger is invited to go with us to the Memphis Zoo on Monday, July 31st. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 2-11. If we have enough sign-up, we may receive a discount. Let Ryan know if you plan to attend.
Kid’s Class: We had a great time this past week bringing cards and cookies to our policemen. This week will be our last Kid’s Class for the Summer. We will be visiting the Fire Department. Hope to see you at 10am!
Congratulations!
Congratulations to our Anna Kate Warner for being nominated as camper of the week for her floor this past week at Freed-Hardeman during Horizons! She certainly made a great impression at FHU. Anna Kate is the daughter of Chris and Deana Warner.
After the evening singing on August 6th, there will be a “Back to School Celebration.” There will hamburgers and hotdogs. Please bring trimmings for hamburgers and hotdogs as well as desserts and homemade ice cream! There will be outside activities for the children. Make plans to be here and invite others to attend!
Annual Whitehouse Singing
The annual Whitehouse singing is
scheduled for today (July 16) at 1:30 p.m. at the church building of the
Whitehouse church of Christ.
August 6th
Singing and Devotional
It has been months since our last congregational singing. There is a singing planned for 6:00 Sunday eve-ning, August 6. This will give our young men and all of our men who lead singing an opportunity to lead singing. Ryan Hollingsworth will be leading our thoughts in a devotional message at the end of the singing.
Gospel Meeting & Homecoming
The Gospel Meeting & Homecoming at the Barn Creek church of Christ is July
23-27 with Barry Grider of Memphis
School of Preaching. Services are Sun-day at 7:30 and weeknights at 7:00.
