HALOCARE tackles typical signs of stressed and mature skin in three ways:

ProtectionHALOCARE is a new bioactive containing rare natural sulfated N-glycans which exhibit high similarity to N-linked glycans found in stratum corneum and epidermis of the human skin. In stressed and mature skin, N-glycan levels decreased resulting in dry skin through loss of the barrier function. HALOCARE instantly ensures normal levels of N-glycans to keep up water binding capabilities by strenghten glycan moities.

Anti AgingIn Aging, metalloproteases located in the stratum cornuem and epidermis are activated which degrade important stabilizing proteins known as Elastin and Corneodesmosomes. HALOCARE inhibit these proteases, which significantly slow down the aging process by protecting structural relevant proteins from proteolysis.

SoothingHALOCARE induce production of intracellular protection molecule Glutathione (GSH). By acting as free-radical scavenger, GSH detoxifies and prevent lipid peroxidation through reactive oxygen species mainly induced by UV light exposure of skin.
