stick with the by-way & come into Malin Bridge via Wood Lane & Stannington

Rd. It’s certainly no further & might be simpler

Having crossed, follow the lane towards ‘Wisewood’ on the map above to

emerge on the main road — turn R, towards Sheffield, along this

Follow the Loxley Road (B6077) until you see the church

Alternative ending: there is a FP marked along the river, which brings you out

just past the church in Loxley Bottom; if you can find this, it will remove a long

stretch of road walking
