The 11th CCC HAINBURG 2015, already the third event in the third lap of CCC congresses, which are organised alternately in one of the CCC member countries, brings together professionals and scientists from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia and Poland, as well as around the world. This technical congress with the slogan "Innovative Concrete Technology in Practice" will offer a comprehensive overview of the most recent technological trends of the building material concrete and interesting examples of Planning & Construction for infrastructure and building. The main purpose of the 11th Central European Congress on Concrete Engineering HAINBURG 2015, devoted to the subject of "Innovative Concrete Technology in Practice", is to familiarize principals, contractors and consultants with state-of-the-art develop-ments in applied research and the findings of construction practice in different countries.To this end, internationally experts will discuss issues of concrete technology, concrete engineering, and structural design. Empirical reports on the use of concrete in interesting construction projects in Austria and abroad will provide a source of inspiration for further innovative uses of this building material.

The four founding countries – Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Hungary – decided in 2004 to collaborate more closely and to launch the CCC as a forum for an annual cross-border exchange of experience among principals, authorities, contractors, design engineers and academics in the field of construction materials and technology, concrete structures and civil engineering, as well as applied research and development. In 2012 Poland was included as the fifth CCC Initiative Member Country. The 11th CCC HAINBURG 2015 will be the third event in the third round of CCC congresses, which are organized alternately in one of the CCC member countries.

Carbonation of SCC in aspect of sustainable

EXHIBITION INFORMATION

From 1 to 2 October 2015, Hainburg will be the meeting point of professionals from the Central European construction sector.

Important representatives from the fields of project development, planning, as well as public and private owners, construction and building materials industry will take part in the CENTRAL EUROPEAN CONGRESS ON CONCRETE ENGINEERING and visit the simultaneous exhibition. We expect more then 300 participants from more than 10 European countries.

Within the framework of the congress, an exhibition will be organized for specialised companies to present their products and services in the field of concrete construc-tion. The parallel exhibition offers companies the opportunity to get in contact with experts from the whole range of construc-tion technology.

TECHNICAL EXCURSION

Carnuntum, city of emperors, has been re-born. Uniquely throughout the world, the basic types of architecture in a Roman city quarter have been reconstructed in Car-nuntum in their historical context: a citizen’s house, a splendid city mansion and public baths. This means that all the buildings have been equipped with Roman underfloor heating systems and fully-functioning kitchens, and all the rooms are furnished.

Just as if time had stood still 1700 years ago, when Carnuntum was at the centre of world politics. Hadrian, Marcus Aurelius or Septimius Severus – they all have influ-enced the history of this city of emperors.

Built in the style of Roman country villas, these elegant structures houses the trea-sures of more than 400 years of Roman life in Carnuntum. And all this only 10 minutes from the 11th CCC-Congress venue Hain-burg.The Romans have never been so close!

Social Evening

At the end of the first day we will walk together through the narrow streets of Hainburg way up to the castle hill. There awaits a historic castle ruins. Built in 1050, it was stormed and destroyed by the Turks in 1683 and left to decay. In 1975 a group of Hainburg citizens startet to renovate the castle ruins. It offers us a rustic dinner with roast suckling pig in a medieval atmosphere!

The congress venue of the 11th CCC (congress & exhibition), the culture factory is outside the largely preserved city walls of Hainburg situated directly on the Danube and 15 minutes from Bratislava.

The tobacco factory, now converted into a cultu-ral centre, was founded in 1724 and nationalised in 1784 as Austrian Tobacco Monopoly. In 1847 the factory was the largest Danube factory buil-ding. Until the beginning of the 20th century cigars and cigarettes were made by hand. In 1905 with 2,500 employees the K.u.K tobacco factory reached its commercial peak. After natio nalisation the building was extensively renovated from 2005 and adapted and created as an event centre.

The hotel "Altes Kloster" connected directly with the congress venue "Culture Factory", was a minorite monastery in the years between 1235 to 1245. The benefactor was king Ottokar II. Premysl. In the time of reformation the Minorites were expelled from Hainburg. At the end of the 17th century a rebuilding of the house was finished and in 1723 a tobacco factory was set up in the building of the former monastery. Until 1980 the building was used as the main branch of Hainburg‘s tobacco factory.

The hotel "Altes Kloster" opened its gates for guests on April 13th 2011.

General Terms of PaymentYour payment can be made only via bank transfer in Euro to the Congress organizer ÖBV after receiving your invoice. Please write the invoice number and your name in your money order. Without that the identifiation of your payment may fail.

We will accept bank transfers just up to 20 Septem-ber 2015.

Please instruct your bank to carry out the transaction „Free of charge for the recipient“. Any bank fees in-curred will be charged to the respective participant.

Please do not pay by bank cheques.

Later payments (only in exceptional cases) have to be made by cash at the registration desk at the Congress.

Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation of registration will be sent to you by the Congress Secretariat upon receipt of payment as soon as practicable.

The confirmation letter will contain your registration number. Please present this confirmation letter and your registration number at the Congress Registra-tion Desk.

Cancellation conditions registration

Written notification (by post, e-mail or fax) is re-quired for all cancellation/changes. Following can-cellation fees will be applied:
