GUSTY was born in Fuerteventura. Living life close to the ocean and carrying the respect for nature through into the work. Always looking to recycle where possible, striving to create long lasting products of the highest quality.

GUSTY is the brand created out of the combined ef-forts of Claudia (Switzerland), Gereon (Germany) and Thijs (Belgium) who found each other on the island of Fuerteventura, CanaryIslands.

Starting as a repair business called «Stitch Craft», mainly repairing windsurf sails and kites, they grew into a bag / accessories and clothing company.

Creating, designing, developing, producing, it all happens at the shop / workshop of «Stitch Craft» in the heart and centre of the North of Fuerteventura, in the small town of Lajares.

The working team consists of 5 people, with Remi joining from the Netherlands and Melanie from Switzerland.

All of them leading a lifestyle marked by water sports, decided to turn their passion for the world of surfing and sailing into beautiful and colorful de-signs.

Living life close to the ocean, and their free time of-ten in it, they carry the respect for nature through into their work. Always looking to recycle where possible they strive to create long lasting products of the highest quality. Their bags and accessories are a mix of recycled windsurf / kite and building in-dustry materials, together with new high end marine quality thread, tapes, ribbons, inox and fabrics.

Supporting their brand and cause is supporting a revival of handcraftship, local production and fair labour.
