INTRODUCTION
This manual aims to be a brief and practical Adult Education Guide on Economic Literacy. It collects contributions from Consortium Partners, products and activities realized during the ECORL project, transforming them into useful tools in order to enable replication and dissemination of the project in other Countries and Organisations. Guidelines on Economic Literacy is a multimedia text, presenting and connecting the main results and documents of the ECORL platform www.ecorl.it/en It addresses adults interested in Social Economy, as well as Associations, Schools, Public and Private Entities working with Adult Education and Sharing Economy topics. We wish to thank warmly the 130 participants to the Pilot Training Courses, the more than 40 teachers, trainers and experts involved, the more than 700 indirect beneficiaries participating in the Multiplier Events in Albania, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, the more than 120.000 users, views and contacts on the ECORL website and Social Networks, the over 50 Associations, cooperatives, companies that over the two years provided contents, ideas, experiences that made the existence of the project. Possible, and its success concrete. Enjoy the reading !

HOW TO DEVELOP ADULT COMPETENCES IN 6 STEPS:
1. Comparative Research on Sharing Economy

The Research explores Sharing Economy issues within an international perspective, investigating forms of new economy in Western, European, and emerging economies. Special attention is paid to Sharing Economy cases within the Consortium countries, highlighting national specificities, good practices, challenges and problems. A brief glossary helps understanding the meaning of the terms used by the partners. The Comparative Study provides the theoretical basis of the project and was therefore the first product to be shared online on the ECORL Website.

2. Interactive Web Platform

The Interactive Platform is both a bilingual Repository of documents, products, online courses, deepenings, FAQs, weekly news on Sharing Economy, and a virtual environment including Social Networks, Facebook, Twitter and Forums. It is updated regularly during the project in order to inform and disseminate the Consortium’s products.

3.Pilot Training Courses for Adults Learners
Two Editions, 2016-2017, of the Pilot Training Courses on Sharing Economy in Albania, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania and Spain with 12 adult learners.
40 - 50 hours face-to-face meetings with teachers and experts
20 hours of distance learning and individual works/projects
5 days of Mobility in Tirana for an international workshop on Social Business

The Pilot Training Course provides tools and basic competences to adult learners on Social Economy in order to compare knowledge and experiences . It is the Intellectual Output n.3

4. Guidelines on Adult Collaborative Learning

The Guideline on Collaborative Learning collects theories and practices useful for adults learning: methods, tools, strategies and features of formal, non-formal and informal education, in addition to the good practices and experiences realized by the Partners during the Project.

5. Open Educational Resources
The 54 Online Courses produced by the Partners are free bilingual learning resources on basic economic literacy issues. They consist in 5 sections:
Video, Deepenings, WebReferences, Exercise to Test their competences and Further Reading.
The OERs are grouped into 4 thematic areas:
Social Economy, Sharing Economy, Ethics Finance, Sustainable Lifestyles They are simple in use and useful for updating and disseminating Sharing Economy themes

The Questions on Social Economy Adult Learners should test their Economics basic Competences through the following questions:

What does “Ethical Finance” mean?
What are the different kinds of Social Business Models?

6. Adults Mobility
Five Adults Learners coming from each Partners staff, took part in the Short Mobility in Albania, Editions 2016 and 2017. The International Workshops was held in Tirana at the Yunus Social Business Centre, the most important Center of Sustainable Social Businesses, Microcredit, SME-Start up and Social Entrepreneurship in Europe. Five intensive days characterized by:
Yunus Center working methodology, between Social Economy and start-up creation

Presentation of individual work on the Social Economy of the participants coming from
Albania, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania and Spain

BASIC SOCIAL ECONOMY COMPETENCES
After completion of the six steps described above, Adult Learners will gain key Competences on Social Economy and will be able to perform various activities, as the following:
Understand the main concepts of Social Economy;
Explain the historical developments of the Social Economy sector in Europe and in their own country;
Understand the alternative economic system based on Social Economy;
Differentiate various Social Economy organizations that operate within the Social Economy sector;
Analyse the Social Economy structure in their country;
Argument the differences between pure for profit business and social business;
Evaluate benefits that Social Economy organizations create and bring to the society;
Understand the principles of ethical production, fair trade and ethical consumption;
Understand the main principles of corporate social responsibility;
Explain the implementation process of socially responsible activities;
Create a start-up business plan for starting their own social business;
Understand the main concepts of ethical banking;
Argument the benefits of ethical financing;
Clearly differentiate the business model of a commercial bank versus business model of the ethical bank;

Compare the banking sector framework between countries;
Understanding different investment opportunities for social businesses;
Understand the novelty of crowdfunding idea and crowdfunding as a method for fundraising;
Understand the financial statements for a social business;
Recommend and motivate interested stakeholders to start a Social Economy organization;
Adopt different theoretical concepts related to Sharing Economy and its development in order to gain knowledge Critically think about various practices of Sharing Economy services in tourism (Problem solving, Social responsibility,
Communication); Investigate specific aspects of Sharing Economy services in a destination of choice and suggest possible ways of
improvement - project (Problem solving, Creativity, Social responsibility, Communication and Entrepreneurship spirit)
