Guide to NSW DoE Student Portal and Microsoft Teams:

1. Open your internet browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, or similar).

3. Click on Log In 4. Click on Student Portal

5. Login to student portal using your supplied log in details. Please call the front office for this information if needed.

Downloading Microsoft Teams and OneNote to your Device:

You will need to download the free Microsoft Teams and OneNote application to your device (mobile phone, tablet, computer or laptop).

You can download Microsoft Teams and OneNote through the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store if you are an Android user. You can also search in a web browser (Google, Safari, etc) to download the

application at https://products.office.com.

Signing in to Microsoft Teams:

Accessing files in Microsoft Teams:

On the Posts page of your class team you will be able to see any files (Word Documents, PowerPoints, PDF’s and videos) that your teacher posts. These resources will also be saved in the Files tab. In the Files tab there is also useful resources that will help you with your literacy and numeracy activities.

Using OneNote to Submit Student Work Samples:

Answering a Meeting Call:

Each student will have access to their own personal Class Notebook. Your notebook will have a folder for each Key Learning Area. In each folder you can start a new page and label it with the learning activity. You can submit photos of your work in these folders but clicking on Insert then Picture then From File or From Camera. Teachers will be able to see what you put in your notebook folder and they can mark your work. In the Files tab there is also useful resources that will help you with your literacy and

Sometimes you will be called by your teacher. When answering the meeting call make sure your camera is OFF and your microphone is ON. Then click Join Now. Make sure you have notifications enabled so you know when a teacher is calling you during school hours.
