Guide to Angie’s List Web BadgesThe Angie’s List Web Badge, a customizable graphic and link combination, encourages reviews from a company’s existing clients and urges a company’s prospective clients to see what Angie’s List is about and potentially sign up to see your reviews. Ideally, these links benefit both our company and yours.

To obtain this free customizable badge, please visit http://www.angieslist.com/angie-badge/ and enter your Company ID number. You will be guided through badge creation, and provided with customized HTML code that you can add to the source code of your company website to add the badge. We do ask that you choose from one of the badge options available and refrain from including additional text or changing the link or Angie’s List logo in any way.

Guide to Super Service Award Brand Use for Current WinnersAchieving the Super Service Award is an impressive accomplishment that affords you multiple opportunities to promote your company’s standing on Angie’s List. Please remember, however, that because the Angie’s List and Super Service Award names and logos are trademarked, the Super Service Award has specific guidelines for approved use. These guidelines are in place to maintain the value and integrity of Angie’s List and the Super Service Award program so your award maintains its prestige.

Since Super Service Award is awarded for specific markets/ categories, providers with multiple locations must clearly indicate the winning location(s) for any of the below options in order to be approved.

Access the complete guidelines as well as the Super Service Award web badge, logo, press release and mer-chandise order form by visiting AngiesListBusinessCenter.com, signing into the Business Center, and selecting the “Super Service Award” section.

Free Super Service Award Web Badge • For use by current winners on company websites • Includes the award logo and built-in link to a custom page on Angie’s List • If a current winner has also won the Super Service Award in past years, they may list the previous year(s) in which they won below the current badge.

Current Super Service Award Logo may be used by current winners on: • Email or printed materials sent to named current or prospective customers who have proactively contacted the business (e.g. Invoices, Estimate forms, Business cards, Brochures, Newsletters, and Thank you notes.) • Flyers and door-hangers (self-distributed, not mass mailed) • Ads in the Angie’s List Publication • Awnings and Signs at the Business • Yard Signs at job sites • Company Apparel and Uniforms • Non-competitor social media sites • Company video not included in mass marketing

Super Service Award Press Release • Current winners may include the current Super Service Award press release on their company website, blog, and non-competitor social media sites. • The press release provided by Angie’s List is available through the company profile on the Angie’s List Business Center website. • Winners may customize the highlighted sections of the Press Release, but recipients wishing to distribute the press release to the media and/or publish in newsletters must seek permission from [email protected] regarding the venue and text changes to the press release prior to use.

Super Service Award in Social Media

• In addition to the Super Service Award logo and press release, the following text may be used on non-competitor social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc): • “We earned the 2014 Super Service Award from Angie’s List. The award reflects consistent high levels of customer service. Check our reviews at AngiesList.com.” • “Happy to announce we’ve received the 2014 @AngiesList Super Service Award! Thanks to all our customers for making it possible.”

*Super Service Promotion outside of the above guidelines should be assumed to be not permitted. To check on a specific situation, please email [email protected].

Promotion for Angie’s List AdvertisersAngie’s List offers opportunities for highly-rated providers to advertise discounts through the Angie’s List magazine, website, and/or call center. For more information about advertising opportunities, please email us at [email protected] or give us a call at 1-866-843-LIST (5478).

For advertisers in Angie’s List Magazine working to design your coupon, please see our separate print publication guidelines (available from your Angie’s List Ad Artwork Coordinator) for information regarding the stringent display guidelines required by our publications.

The trademarked Angie’s List name and all Angie’s List website and magazine content, including Angie’s List coupons, Big Deals, and StoreFront offers, is the property of Angie’s List and may not be reproduced by outside parties. We do want our advertisers to be able to promote their status and discount offers outside of Angie’s List and we have specific guidelines for doing so.

All text regarding advertisements must be removed from all venues when the Angie’s List advertisements are no longer active.

Guide to Unapproved Angie’s List Brand PromotionBecause the Angie’s List and Super Service Award names and logos are trademarked, they are not permitted for use on company marketing materials, except in the approved manners described in Angie’s List Brand Guidelines.

The most common venues in which we find unauthorized use of the trademarked Angie’s List and Super Service Award names and logos are:

• Yellow page and all other print and online directories and review services • Newspaper, magazine, radio, television, or internet ads • Company websites (not including the approved ‘badges’ mentioned above) • Flyers, door hangers, coupon books • Direct mail, email, or fax • Billboards and yard signs

Additionally:

• Providers are never to refer to their company as a ‘member’ of Angie’s List, verbally or in print (even if the owner or employees of the company have personal memberships with us). • Providers may not reference ratings in any medium (e.g. “A ratings,” “Highly Rated,” etc.). • Providers may not, under any circumstances, reproduce, print, copy, forward, distribute or email Angie’s List member reviews for commercial gain. • The use of all Angie’s List trademarks, including but not limited to the Angie’s List Super Service Award trademark and related logos, in yellow page and other directories is expressly prohibited. Any service provider using Angie’s List trademarks in yellow page advertisements may be subject to immediate penalties enforced by Angie’s List.
