GSP will teach you to reect on your experience: who you are; who you want to be; and what your leadership role in the world will be. By the end, you’ll know yourself better. You’ll understand the world around you better and the role you will play in its future. You will have lots to talk about in your college admissions essays.

What safety and security measures are in eect during the program?African Leadership Academy is dedicated to providing the safest international service-learning program possible. The ALA campus has a strict access policy and is guarded by a 24-hour security service to help ensure the enjoyment and safety of our participants. Our dining hall is able to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. The beautiful campus has all of the security features of any world-class international boarding high school.

Who is eligible to apply for the Global Scholars Program?African Leadership Academy seeks dynamic, motivated high school students, ages 15-19, from around the world—North America, South America, Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Africa—who are thrilled at the prospect of an enriching nineteen-day leadership program.
