Christmas Comes To Union Grove gives you the opportunity to reach families who cannot visit your business during the week. Thismay be the first time some have ever entered your business!

If your business is downtown Union Grove or close to it, you can be a participant of our Cookie Walk. In the past, if you were not onthe Cookie Walk route, you were not able to participate in our Christmas Events. Why not sponsor an event this year and get yourname on all of our publications - in the Newspapers, Village tv AND on all posters announcing the events. What a value for yourbusiness!

Each sponsor will also be aparticipant in the Cookie Walk. It is tooconfusing if businesses do one and not theother. You are asked to provide 100 cookies -either homemade or purchased.

Up to 100 Cookie Walk customers who havepurchased the 2012 souvenir Christmas tin for$5 will come to your place of business toreceive one cookie and sign up for prizes.

Each Cookie Walk sponsoring retailer orprofessional is asked to donate $25 forChamber Members OR $35 for non-ChamberMembers to participate. This will be used forpublicity, prizes and refreshments in the VillageSquare. A wrapped box and entry blanks willbe delivered to you. Anyone entering yourbusiness on Saturday may sign up to win one ofthe $50 Christmas Shopping Sprees. You willalso receive a poster with a picture of this yearscookie tin to display to indicate yourparticipation. You are asked to return the box,and entry slips to the Chamber of CommerceOffice on Monday, December 3 in order foryour customers to be in the drawing.

The Chamber will arrange publicityon Union Grove’s cable TV channel and in allarea newspapers. Posters for Cookie Walkparticipants will be delivered to businesses. TheChamber will place a large ad in the WestineReport on Friday, November 23 explaining theCookie Walk and identifying all sponsors wherecustomers can sign up for prizes. Any discountsor store specials will also be advertised. Inaddition, you may purchase an individual adfor the special Christmas page in the WestineReport. Participation is optional, but a full pageof ads will make an impact of “friendlyhometown shopping and services in UnionGrove”. You may also decide to offer discountsor store specials for this special shopping day.Tell us about them and we will advertise it foryou.
