IN FORMATIO NVISU ALISATIO N CASE STUDY
A local government agency required a Business Case for their multimillion dollar Business Transformation Program. The aim was to conduct
analysis for the program and in turn enable the CEO to convince the Board and Council members of the programs value and seek budget approval.
Gravity conducted a series of workshops and interviews with their key stakeholders to assess the stakeholder expectations from the exercise. A detailed analysis of all relevant program documentation was also carried out . Key challenges to be addressed included: Highlighting the Program’s contribution for external Stakeholders and Customers Summarising all key elements of the detailed (over 100 pages) business case for senior executive buy in. Developing summary views of the Business Case to support varied stakeholder engagement across the Program Lifecycle.
An Info graphic Business Case summary was developed that enabled:
key transformational initiative to the Board. The Board members to comprehend the breadth of information contained in a detailed business case, through a concise infographic. The Business owners to easily communicate the proposed technology and business change to their respective departments and stakeholders and The program management team
objectives to their team members across the Program Lifecycle.
