With over 278 stores in Europe, Primark is widely established as the destination store for affordable fashion.

As part of current investment in stores to accommodate more customers, a full store refurbishment and extension to the Primark in Ridings Shopping Centre, Wakefield, will add an extra 15,000 sq ft (1400 m2) of retail space to the ground and first floors, doubling the store’s existing space.

Our Project Delivery teams have worked with Primark on numerous projects and can attest to their high quality specification: “Primark demands exciting and inspiring stores to showcase their value fashion offering and encourage high sales volumes so it is vital that our interior finishes are of a very high standard.”

NEXT is the second largest UK clothing retailer trading from more than 500 stores in the UK and Ireland.

In line with their increased effort and investment in marketing the NEXT brand over the last few years, project emphasis has been on improving the quality of in-store displays, graphics and windows, as well as focusing on larger format fashion and home stores, an example of which is the NEXT store in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.

Debenhams is the UK’s second largest retail department store by market share, and is fast to react and implement new trends. Under their “Space Moves” program, we are creating visually exciting retail space for new concessions in live stores.

New Look’s new “Concept” format, designed to engage and inspire customers, involves a combination of enhanced layout, improved visual merchandising and innovative point of sale technology allowing in-store customers to access rich content via smartphones and tablets. Within this theme, the specification on several projects has comprised major structural alterations, joinery and specialist furniture installations and new partitioning, signage and graphics.

Further to our longstanding, successful relationship with JD Sports, we have completed several store fit-outs in the UK and Ireland for BANK Fashion, a subsidiary of JD Sports Fashion. Branded as the Group’s young fashion offering, the BANK store projects have involved the replacement of fixtures and fittings, structural alterations and associated building work, management of the M&E package and all decoration.

Our appointment to a number of exclusive designer concession and store fit-outs has featured bespoke joinery-led designs involving extremely tight deadlines. Working in close partnership with Goldsmiths, the design team and our suppliers

to complete the demanding specifications and installation challenges, our client’s brief for maximum impact has been realised every time. Moreover, the Goldsmiths store in Cribbs Causeway Shopping Centre, Bristol, was delivered to our client snag free, of which we are justifiably proud.

The Goldsmiths name is synonymous with quality and tradition. It is the largest quality jeweller in the UK with showrooms in every major town and city, and is also Crown Jeweller.

We have consistently delivered eye-catching, quality stores for Schuh across the UK and Ireland, one of which was their debut, stand alone kids store in Braehead, Scotland. This was a new concept for Schuh, and attached to an existing store, created a ‘Schuh Superstore’.

The concept emulated the traditional Schuh format whilst appealing to younger customers so furniture was made of tactile materials in smaller sizes and proportions and bespoke children’s graphics were fitted to set the tone. Striking new finishes helped achieve maximum impact for the launch.

A winner of the British Council for Offices (BCO) Best Corporate Workplace award, the GRAHAM Group Headquarters was built to the highest environmental standards, achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and ‘A’ rated EPC.

When it came to fitting out our own office, no corner was left unanalysed. We were able to create a building that would make us stand out as a leader in outstanding design and sustainable

construction. Accommodation includes three floors of open plan office space, boardrooms, meeting rooms, breakout areas and support facilities. As virtually all the structure was exposed to view and integrated within the operation of the building, the challenge was to merge the structure and associated detailing within the building’s aesthetics to create a sustainable, imaginative and inspiring workplace.

Thanks to the impressive carbon performance achieved by the building and its attention to detail on every aspect of sustainability, the building was awarded a National RICS UK Sustainability Award and is regarded by many as one of the UK’s most sustainable workplaces.

Space, good daylight, fresh air, colour, quality materials and comfort along with clarity of layout, informal meeting spaces and efficient circulation all distinguish this building from the standard office shell.

When the CME Group, who operate the famous Chicago Mercantile Exchange, invested in a state-of-the-art Technology and Support Services Centre in Belfast, we were appointed to deliver the 12 week programme to strip out, remodel and fit-out two floors of an existing commercial property.

In line with the client’s brief to provide a flexible and functional workplace, our scope included the replacement of all M&E services and the construction of new open-plan desking, cellular offices for quiet working, break out spaces and a boardroom.

The refit of the prestigious International Currency Exchange building in Piccadilly, Central London, was carried out over 56 weeks.

Extensive refurbishment and fit-out have modernised facilities throughout the building to a very high standard whilst retaining existing period features.

The fit-out programme included offices, private suites, bathrooms, reception areas and the installation of a new, bespoke, glass lift shaft.

Located in one of London’s most popular tourist areas, we successfully mitigated a suite of logistical challenges and local authority restrictions through precision work planning and expertise.

As part of the Centre’s modernisation programme, our varied scope of works involved the relocation of the Management Suite, the upgrading of services and safety systems, infilling of an upper atria and the manufacture and installation of specialist joinery features throughout.


Appointed as main contractor to the multi-million pound refurbishment of the mall and food hall in St Johns Shopping Centre, Liverpool, we delivered the project in six phases, ensuring the centre remained operational at all times.

With the aim of bringing St John’s into line with modern shopping centre design, our client’s £4m investment included the renovation of all internal areas including the complete replacement of mall floor finishes, ceilings and lighting, most of which had been unaltered for over 25 years. The end result is a much brighter, smarter, more inviting place to shop.

The major remodelling of this 180,000 sq ft shopping centre has regenerated a previously struggling centre into one of the key shopping hubs within the Liverpool City Centre area.

The multi-million pound transformation of a “cluttered” two floor mall scheme into an impressive new, triple height, single trading mall involved the removal of internal escalators, the renovation of all internal areas, the complete replacement of central mall floor finishes, ceilings and lighting and the formation of new unit layouts.

Located within a new development on the Rotherhithe peninsula in South London, the £2.5m design and fit of a Primary Care Health Facility will provide the new residents and surrounding community with a much improved, high quality Health Centre.

Situated on the ground floor of an existing multi-storey, mixed-use residential building, the new centre provides a multi-functional space for GP consulting rooms, dental services, outreach staff, podiatry treatment, minor surgical procedures and meeting rooms and will play a vital role in promoting healthy living, resolving health inequalities and building a strong community.
