Overview
This report details the outcomes of Pitt Public Health’s master’s and doctoral students who
graduated in December 2011, April 2012, June 2012, and August 2012.
The Office of Student Affairs obtained the majority of this data from our Recent Grad Survey,
which is administered annually in October. Since not every student responded to the survey, we
augmented that data by obtaining additional information from our departmental faculty and staff.
Of the 185 students who graduated in this time frame, we have outcomes data on 174 of them,
which gives a response rate of 94%. Of those, 3 were not actively seeking employment and have
therefore not been included in the charts. The following report details the career status and
employment sector for the remaining 171 students.
