Students will use their imagination to create different clay projects. They will learn to do a variety of
art techniques to further their skills through different mediums. This class is designed to bring out

If you love science, this class is for you! Do you have an imagination with a twist of madness?
Our classroom will become a Mad Science Lab taking a fun and interactive look into science in a
very unique way! We will explore how to bend light into rainbow colors, create an indoor storm,
learn about matter with our Mad Science Mud and much more! All supplies needed are included
in the total cost of the class.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or intermediate guitarist, there is something for every one
who is interested in guitar playing or singing songs with a guitar. In this class, you will learn the
following: tuning and learning about the guitar, first chords, strumming styles, chord families,
(structure of songs), and learning traditional songs . All supplies needed are included in the
total cost of the class.

This fun and exciting culinary experience begins by preparing some deliciously healthy appetizers
to enjoy in our class each week! The menu changes weekly, so the fun never ends! Some of the food
items being prepared are as follows: pesto cheese bread bites, stuffed mushrooms, mini empanadas,
stuffed bell peppers and much more. Students will be chopping, measuring and exploring new
ways to not only prepare different foods, but display them in different ways. They won’t even real-
ize they are learning basic cooking skills! All supplies needed are included in the total cost of this
class.

Bonjour! Come join us as we learn this global language! Through theme specific lessons, games, songs
and stories, students will learn French in a fun and engaging way. Each class will learn new vocabu-
lary (for example: colors and numbers) and useful verbs. They will learn how to combine their new vo-
cabulary words and verbs to form sentences and learn to carry out conversations with their new lan-
guage. Students will be challenged, through reading and writing activities customized to their educa-
tional level and oral dialogues, to build confidence in using their new language skills! All supplies
needed are included in the total cost of this class.

Students will have fun learning “Basic Spanish” as we explore the alphabet sounds, vowels, and verbs!
These important essentials will help them start putting words together, creating sentences, and eventual-
ly teach them how to converse in Spanish. We will also learn how to pronounce numbers words, color
words, names of family members, and days of the week. Bible stories and worship songs will be used as a
vehicle to use their newly gained language skills! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to have your

“Landscapes of Color” is an introductory class to learn the fundamentals of painting! It is a wonder-
ful way for students to express themselves by making beautiful art work to bring home with pride.
Techniques about mixing colors, using different brushes and brush strokes, as well as elements of art
will be taught. In addition, students will study the unique styles of artists such as Van Gogh and Mo-
net. We will work with acrylics and watercolors on canvas! Don’t miss out on this wonderful oppor-
tunity for your child to learn new things and create something beautiful that you will cherish for

Taekwondo - The Martial Arts are for Every Body… Come learn self– defense, physical fitness, and
build strong character, while learning important social skills. You will gain confidence and develop
perseverance and discipline. Taekwondo can be especially beneficial in helping children develop
coordination, attention span, and patience. Taekwondo helps with the development of the “ I can”
and “ I will” attitude by providing an environment where students are to act with strong, confident
mannerisms. With regular and prolonged practice, students build habits that reinforce their physical
actions with a strong mental attitude! In this class, students will become more humble and gain
physical grace! Students will need to bring comfortable, loose clothing to change into for this class.

In this class, students will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and hand stitching. At the end
of this session, students should be able to sew on a button, as well as complete small sewing projects.
This class will open a whole new and exciting world for those who would like to become future de-
signers or who just want to sew for themselves! All supplies needed are included in the total cost of
the class.

All Extended Care students registered for an Enrichment class will be picked up from and returned to Extended
Care. While in an enrichment class, drop-in extended care students will not be billed for daycare; however, stu-
dents who have enrolled in the “R” program will remain signed in. Only drop-in students will be clocked out of
extended care during this time.
Students need to bring a snack with them, as they will not be going to snack bar on any days they are signed up

Stepping toward STEM will ignite the enthusiasm for young engineers to learn and experience science, tech-
nology, engineering, and math. As future leaders, students will have the opportunity to learn how they can
impact the world around them. Using critical thinking and hands-on experimentation, students will discover
and participate in an invigorating STEM robotics program geared toward engineering.

What is STEM? Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Did you know your child could be learning engi-
neering, architecture, and complex mathematics with Legos? Of course they can! Kids already know how to
build with Legos, and with a little coaching, they could do so much more. In this class, students will learn prob-
lem solving and critical thinking skills, leadership, and team building. This is an environment ripe for creative
expression and an appreciation for how things work.
