What’s the weather like today? What can you do? What clothes can you wear?

With the coming of autumn, the weather has changed a bit… and it’s rather cold. Today, we are going to learn new words to describe the weather.

Let’s go to page 28.

Can you see the pictures? What cities are those? We have New York, Mexico City and London… The temperatures in each place are very different! Read the song. You can also listen to it here:

Once you are done, have a look at the words in bold. Let’s get proactive! Look for photos for each one!

WednesdayToday, we’ll learn more about the new words! You know what verbs are… but what about nouns and adjectives? Nouns are ‘sustantivos’ and ‘adjectives’ are adjetivos. For example:

RAIN: It’s a noun.

RAINY: It’s an adjective.

IT’S RANING: It’s a verb.

Classify the weather words in the song on page 28 into these three categories. You will also add the words in the orange box in activity 4.
