CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS This type of bearing is separable. As their rollers linearly come into

contact with inner ring and outer ring with less coefficient of friction, these bearings have very good

THRUST BALL BEARINGS This type of bearing is separable, which can only carry axial load. The

single direction bearings of them can only carry axial load in one direction, while the double carry

alternating axial load in either direction. Before using they have to be preloaded. The thrust ball bearings

are used in lathe centers, automobile clutches, reducers and so on. The double direction angular

contact thrust ball bearings are suitable for machine tool spindles, while the single are used to support

ball screws.

ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS Angular contact ball bearings are able to support radial load

and axial load. As single row angular contact ball bearings can only support axial load in single direction,

matched bearing mounting is often adopted to them. As matched pairs of bearings,preload for them is

more convenient. Retainer are made of brass, synthetic, Resins or others subject to individual bearing

features and application condition.

The automotive wheel bearing is a double row angular contact ball bearing incorporating an integral

outer ring and two separable inner rings, which is available either with seals with seals or without seals.

This bearing can be designed to have a large contact angle. Due to large distance between pressure

center, this bearing is resistant to moments imposed on the wheel during cornering or other similar

motion.

Spherical roller thrust bearings can accommodate heavy axial loads.They are suitable for relatively high

speeds. The bearings have pressed steel cages or machined brass cage. In spherical roller thrust bearings the load is transmitted from one raceway to the other at an angle to the bearing axis，The bearings are therefore suitable to accommodate radial loads in addition to simultaneously acting axial loads. Another important characteristic of spherical roller thrust bearings is their self-aligning capability. This makes the bearings insensitive to shaft deflection and misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing.
