GSMS is an Application developed to handle all seat related transactions that happens inside

cognizant like seat tagging, untagging to associates in India and across the Globe.

Roles and Responsibilities

Handled the Production support issues raised across all cognizant locations. Involved in data porting activities using SSIS packages for new locations across globe. Responsible to Resolving the GSD Tickets Raised under GSMS category. Ad hoc Reports Submission to Admin Team, Weekly Reports, monthly Reports. TIMIT (Time Efficiency Tracker) is a very exceptional system that measures the efficiency at associate/project/BU levels. The system provides a detailed view of the projects executing from Coimbatore. It also presents the allocation details of individual associates working in Coimbatore. The system captures and displays many parameters like DATS entries, session lock entries, office time, desk time of an associate and the like. It possesses a highly integrated architecture and user-friendly features.

Role and Responsibilities

Ad hoc reports to Project managers and account managers for their projects ,accounts Daily DTS Jobs monitoring and troubleshoot if there any issues in DTS jobs. Monthly associate allocation reports submission to Admin Team in Coimbatore. Data profiling for the application and cross check with the data provided by IBMS Team. Troubles shoot any connection issues in the oracle TOAD database. Provide Access to Associates for Timit Site on Special requests. Co ordinate With the Admin Team and IBMS team for any issue in the application or Data.

Coimbatore PMO (Project Management Office) is an internal tool used for the management of various project related reports inside Cognizant. It is a common place having the details of billability status, allocation details, shift details and utilization details etc.It also provides information on ELT reports, tools usage, certification, and Pyramid and visa status. The details can be viewed based on the vertical, solution area and upon project.

Coimbatore PMO is the common repository of various projects. The end-users of this tool are only the managers and VP in Coimbatore. It provides a filtering feature is mainly classified on LOB, customer, department and project and also solution area.

Role and Responsibilities

Daily Monitoring of DTS jobs notification and Troubleshooting of any issues. Provide access to cbepmo for project managers and associates who requests. Overall ssrs reporting server admin for reports publishing and medications. Trouble shoot if there is any data discrepancy in the cbepmo site with database. Adhoc reports to project managers and account managers for their project or accounts. Troubleshoot any issues in database connections or network issues in the SSRS server.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Provider finder is an initiative to enhance customer experience by providing search capabilities on providers to consumers and also to encourage insurance customers to visit the web site to make informed decisions on providers. Based on consumer feedback from Foresee surveys and logged customer care issues, WellPoint is enhancing the usability and functionality of the online Provider Finder tool, currently hosted by the vendor Ingenix. As part of the new, redesigned Consumer Web portal, the provider finder function and tool needs to be enhanced so as to support the improved consumer experience, have a consistent look and feel to match the overall consumer portal, provide an intuitive, simple to navigate approach and reduce “jargon” in content.

Role and Responsibilities Represented a team member role, responsible for understanding the business and the technology in the

project. Acted a crucial role in implementing various business requirements in different stages of Software

development life cycle. Involved in Analysis tasks, migration activities and Unit testing. Enhancement of Sql stored procedures based on new requirements. Responsible for Weekly loads and troubleshoot if any issues in informatica workflows.

The IM and WellPoint strategy is to Decommission Regional and Legacy data Warehouses and move business processes to Edward, the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Warehouses in the Decommission list include EDL, GAEDW, HMC, WEDW & ACTP, AEDW, CRDW, WADW, VADW (PPR and CURS), Specialty Warehouses (DDW and WDW).

The success of the decommissioning process is dependent on the ability to continue to provide current functionality that is still required after the data warehouses are decommissioned

All users, BI applications, Data Extracts, Reports and other applications pointing to the legacy warehouse are re-directed to use Edward.

Roles and Responsibilities

Involved in the Detailed Gap Analysis For VADW. Involved in the data Profiling Tasks for VADW. Review all Assets (BI, Dx/Other Applications, Reports) with dependencies on Warehouse Decommission.

The objective of WEBMD-phase 2 project /RIM#204543, 215873,217551 is to

1. Track the missing demographic information.

2. Enhance the Member matching process change

Role and Responsibilities

Liaise with client to gather business requirements, analyze the system impact and identify solutions. Also document the requirements and coordinate with the client for requirements walk-through and sign-offs

and ensure that the requirements document accurately portray specific business needs. Based on the Changes recommended by Mr. GowriShankar, who is a part of RIM analysis team, the

development team would incorporate the changes in Edward database, to fulfill the business requirements. Involved in BTEQ Scripts enhancement as per the client requirement to fulfill the needs. Developing the unit test cases and unit test logs. WLM jobs scheduling and executing the jobs and troubleshoot if any issues. Coordinate with the ITT team for Signoffs after the history and incremental loads. Baseline of BTEQ and UNIX Script Components using IBM Rational Clear Case Tool.

balances/controls work stream to: Monitor and report on operational process effectiveness and efficiencies. Identify data flow discrepancies between various source and delivery systems supporting the end-to-end

process. Determine current state of HIP PENDS operational and control metrics. Identify additional metrics required to enable end-to-end process monitoring and controls Identify required data attributes & source systems. Create inventory of end-to-end metrics and build metrics dashboard.

Prioritize short term (quick wins) vs. long term metrics.

High Priority Metrics deals with monthly dashboard preparation by using the T-SQL Query Statements to identify the members who are over serviced and underserviced for those who had enrolled for their respective health management corporation programs.Aim of the High priority Metrics is to reduce the over servicing and under servicing by running the monthly dashboard for different metrics associated with hippends phase II.

Based on the client requirement logic changes have been done to obtain the optimized results for metrics dashboard.

Performance tuning of queries to fetch the results faster as per coding standards. To check whether we are getting exact matching records when running the queries against oracle database
