No. 14/1/2015-5LG1/757.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) ofsection 71 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 (Punjab Act No. 42 of 1976)and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased tomake the following rules further to amend the Punjab Municipal Corporation Services(Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1978, namely:-

RULES1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Municipal Corporation Services(Recruitment and Conditions of Service) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publicationin the Official Gazette.2. In the Punjab Municipal Corporation Services (Recruitment and Conditions ofService) Rules, 1978, in Appendix 'B', in the Table, for serial No. 29 and entriesrelating thereto, the following serial No. and entries relating thereto shall be substituted,namely:-
