NSS AIM: “Development of the personality of students through community service”

REPORT ON INAUGURATION FUNCTION OF NSS ACTIVITIES 2017 – 2018

In Our College, We Had Organized Function For Inauguration NSS activities

ForAcademic Year 2017-18 on 27-7-2017. It was presided by our principal, Prof.K M Mayege

Gowda We Invited Honorable Shri. C. P Yogeshwar Member Of Legislative Assemble

Channapatan, and International Motivational Talker Prof.Chethan Ram He. Spoke About

Gandhian Values And Their Requirements In Today’s youth And Development Of Spiritual

Values In Students.

SWACHCHA COLLEGE PROGRAM

As a part of NSS activities and under the theme of swachcha bharath mission

announced by our honorable PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA Sri. NARENDRA

MODI, Our College NSS UNIT 1&2 Undertakes swachcha college program on

15th August 2017.

FREE EYE CHECK UP CAMP&EYE DONATION AWARENESS

PROGRAM

On September 6th 2017, We had organized EYE Donation awareness program and free

eye check up camp. DR .SOLANKI EYE HOSPITAL had organized free eye check up camp for

the students as well as the outsiders participated in the camp. On that very same day the

volunteers of NSS UNIT went for the walkathon for creating awareness about EYE Donation.

FIRE SAFETY PROGRAM

ON 15TH September 2017 we had organized fire safety program. In this program our

volunteers were given information about the safety measures taken by the fire brigade in case of

fire break out. The various method used by them were displayed to the students.

NSS DAY CELEBRATION

On 25th September 2017, we celebrated NSS DAY in our college . We had invited our

collage Principal Dr.Venkatesh and teaching and non Teaching Staff were invited as the chief

guests for the NSS Day celebration .

Planting Medicinal Saplings (Dhanavanthri Vana)

In our College we are Planting of Medicinal Sapling It was presided by our principal,

Prof.K M Mayege Gowda. It was Inaugurated by Honorable M L A Sri C P Yogeshwar ,in order

create awareness about benefits of different medicinal sapling among students. Nearly 100

saplings are been planned the plantation

On the occation of 154 th Birthday of Sawmi Vivekananda Govt. of

Karnataka Organizing Yuvasapthaha in Palace Ground Bangalore ,our collage 100

NSS Students participate in that Programme Actively and gaining good

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On 22th of Augest 2017 , we organized a seminar about the importance

about blood donation, and all the students were very much benefited with those

information and on 22th of Augest 2017, we organized blood donation camp

where 520 participated and 150 students donated which could save many lives as

donated blood too.

NSS Special CAMP

Day-1

As per the instruction of the Bangalore University we had organized 7 days special camp

in Garkhalli , Channapatana Town, Ramanagara Dist.12-03-2018 to 18-03-2018 under the theme

of “YOUTH FOR SCIENCE AND SCIENTIFIC”. This program was inaugurated at 11:00am on

12-03-2018 by Shri C P Yogeshswar M L A Channapatana and guests of honor, Sri S Gangadhar

President Of Sthayi Samithi Ztp Ramanagara,. In this program President of the Camp

Dr.Venkatesh Spoke about the important of NSS for the today’s youth in the development of the

country and building values in youth.The Same day evening National Award Winner Beuru

Ramaiah Spoke about Janapada Songs and Singing a Janapada, lavani, rangageethe with his

teams also teach our students

2nd DAY OF NSS Special Camp

SAWCHCHA BHARATH PROGRAMME IN THE

SURROUNDING VILLAGES AND GENERAL SURVEY ABOUT

GOVERNMENT FACILITIES IN VILLAGE

On 13-03-2018 and 25-12-2017, we undertook different activities such as cleaning

streets of the village, creating compost pit in high school compound. Our students did survey in

Garkhalli village in respect of educational level, Number of bank account holders, knowledge of

online transaction and over many such aspects. On 13 and 14th In the Evening sessions, Dr.

Byregowda Thinker , He Give Power Point Presentation about The Study of Treble People ” and

Shri K M Nagaraju Asst. Director , Dept. of Agriculture He is Spoke About organic Farming

On 14-03-2018 and , we undertook different activities such as cleaning streets of the

On 15-03-2018 , We are cleaning the Fames Temple Seddeswara Betta Steeps ,temple,

and we are plantation of medicine plants in top of the seddeswara betta. the Evening. sessions,

Sri V S Ashok Deputy Director ,Department of Agriculture Ramanagara, he his giving Spceal

speech about Modern Farming Practices he show some Examples and DR. Jyaramu H C Deputy

Director , Animal Rasing, Chanapattana, He his talk about the Modren Methods of Animal

Rasing.

Day-5

On 16-03-2018 , We are cleaning the Fames Temple Seddeswara Betta Steeps ,temple,

and we are plantation of medicine plants in top of the seddeswara betta at 11.00 am we ar

organizing free health check up for animals with medicine under guidedce of Dr.Jayaramu, Dr.

Mithreya .the Evening. sessions, Sri.Hulikal Nataraj , Miracle Blaster,he his Talk about

Scientifically minded youth and show some Activitie and Sri . M Raju Deputy Director ,

Kannada mathu samskrutha elake, Ramanagara ,he his spoke about The cultural activities in

Ramanagara District .

On 17-03-2018 , seddeswara pond was cleaned and white washed by our NSS Students.

TRECKING TO SEDDESWARABETTA AND CLEANING THE

AREA

On 17-03-2018, we left to early morning trekking to SEDDESWARABETTA where we

cleaned the area. Our students enthusiastically participated in the trekking.

SCHOOL VISIT

On 18th of march 2017, we visited a nearby government school, where the students gave

us a warm welcome. Many of the students showcased their talents everyone enjoyed a lot with

the students.
