Included in the list of award winners from Mattituck High School were Joan Wilshusen of Marratooka Road, Mat- tituck, and Christine Zuhoski, R. F. D. Box 172, Cutchogue. Misses Wilshusen and Zuhoski were sponsored by their Guldence Counselor, Vernon G. Strub. Blake Business School wishes these deserving young ladies success in their future careers. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore an antique white peau de soi sleeveless sheath with a scoop neck- line and matching coat with jeweled buttons. She wore a short veil attach- ed to a Dior bow and carried orchids on her bag. Linda Sexton, sister of the bride- groom, served as Maid of Honor and sole attendent. She was attired in a wool turquois sheatli with matching headpiece and wore an orchid corsage. Thomas Bazar of New Britain, Conn, served as bestman, The bride, a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, is a re- search assistant in the Psychology De- partment at the Connecticut Valley State Hospital in Middletown, Conn. Mr Sexton, a graduate of New York University, has recently returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is pre- sently with J R Sexton, Inc in Meri- den, Conn. Seventh Fleet Letter of Commendation was present- ed to Petty Officer Goebel by CDR George B Shick, Jr, Commanding Of- ficer of the Guided Missile Frigate, Present at the ceremony was Captain D Henrlques, Commander of Destroyer Division Eight Two of which Pratt Is a unit. Petty Officer Goebel earned Seventh Fleet Letter of Commendation while serving aboard the Pratt during her recent deployment to West PAC. While in the Tonkin Gulf the slilp was en- gaged in many Search and Rescue Mis- sions rescuing several downed airmen, The ship also provided valuable air control and communications support to Navy and Air Force Strikes Into North Vietnam. Pratt steamed 75,000 miles and visited such exotic ports as Hong Kong, BCC; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Yo- kosuka, Japan and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii diu-lng her cruise.
