Build Your Business - Power of Follow Up

Balance your follow upDon’t get caught in a follow up overload! Wait at least a few days before following up…but don’t wait too long. A good estimate on your

follow up is to check in about 5 to 7 days after your initial communication or previous follow up. Follow up is not something that ends. Your

check-in should lead to scheduling your next check-in or support call. Make it your goal to connect on a monthly basis.

Check in with your teamDon’t leave your team hanging. Follow up with your Level 1s through Level 3s. If you have a lot of team members, break up your schedule to

follow up on di erent days or consider a group call or event.

Follow up conversations for potentials:“Hey [NAME]! I just watched this video of my friend, [NAME]. She shares how amazing she feels with Slim and it reminded me of our

conversation on Tuesday. Great info! Let me know what you think.”

“Hi! Do you have any questions from last week? Here’s a short video from a friend who has found amazing success with TriPlex. Her

experience is so similar to what we were talking about. Let me know what you think.”

Follow up conversations for customers:“Hey [NAME]! How are you liking your new products? I’d love to hear how you’re doing!”

“Hi [NAME]! Did you receive your fi rst TriPlex order? How are you liking it so far? I’d love your feedback and let me know if you have

questions.”

Follow up conversations for team members:“Hey! Just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing with your goals. Have you been able to keep up with your 10 to Connect this week?”

“Hi! Just thinking about you and wanted to set up a time to chat and see how you’re doing with your IPA goals for this month. Can we set up

a brief call tomorrow afternoon?”

Activity: 1. Print out the DMO and IPA worksheets.

2. Write down some talking points on what to say with your follow up.

3. Connect with your Sponsor if you need additional ‘words to say.’

4. Follow up with at least 2 to 3 people each day.
