Random Classical Portrait of the day
Before the session After the session
After such an enjoyful conference, we as
journo team felt the necessity of showing
our appreciation to special people who
gave us their helping hands during this
session:
Special Thanks To:Neven for keeping us awake with 24/7 live Polish music banging in our ears whenever we might fall asleep,
reminding us his name every single time we call him and inventing weird games to keep us dynamic. Yeah, row
row row your boats gently(!) down the stream...
The precious delegates who didn’t stare blankly at us when we were sneaking towards them with peculiar
questions like “How do you think the dragons reproduce?” (We’re glad to reveal that it was Neven’s idea so put the
blame on him, not us:P)We also thank them for providing us materials to fill the issue with by giving crazy poses
and most importantly of all, the GOSSIPS.
The beloved chairpersons for answering our questions immediately (except one of the Swedish guys...hint: he’s
not a journo), for making our job easier for instance by not hesitating to show their underwear or letting the
pictures of their butt to be taken. (oh, you wonder who he is?just check out the paper)
The orga(y)s for letting us steal food during the coffee break, keeping us fed and plump, for letting us in orga
room when we waited for hours (!) to make interviews with people and again for cheering us up with loony poses.
Our beautiful editress Ipek for keeping Neven calmed down and providing a balance. Joking apart, we really
appreciate what our beloved editors did for us and spent their hours trying to put what we’ve done together and at
the same time acting as entertainers.
The richness of moustache of The Random Turk of the Day and of Oðulcan’s chest hair. No need for telling the
reason...We couldn’t have
made it without ’em.
The Mahmut who still
maintained his shape after all
those kisses he got and for
being such a charming award.
Our lovely members of the
board Ezgi, Ceyda and Begüm
for basically everything...
And last but surely not least
most special thanks go to the
whole EYP family for making
this conference meaningful
from the beginning.

Red Carpet 1,5 m X 20 m Night!
During the ‘Red Carpet’
night all delegates
where transferred to
a 3-floor restaurant
boat! Sometimes it’s
impossible to imagine
where you can find
yourself due to EYP!
The Bosporus was calm and
we travelled in circles
around Bogazici Koprusu!
Many exciting events took
place on the boat! Firstly,
there was a voting
procedure for the most
Gobble Gobble picture. The
winner was Dimitris (GR)
and his prize was the
exclusive and very rare
opportunity to have a
journo as a slave for one
day! Fortunately for us,
Dimitris did the right choice by preferring a
healthy guy from Croatia called Never(n), who
happens also to be our editor! The concept
had an immediate effect as you can see in the
photo (photo1)!
Moreover there were several contests that we
all enjoyed! It was the creativity of the journo
team that made the difference... The whole
event was called Mahmut Awards and the
winners were selected by voice and table
noise! We don’t take any responsibility for the
results:
Tony as the coolest chair,
Anil and Barbaros as the coolest chairs,
Lukas for having the longest male hair,
Edward as the most royal chair,
IMCO and LIBE 2 as the best committees,
Busru for possessing the highest heels,
FINLAND as the blondest delegation and
‘I wish I could remember’ for the shortest
skirt!

As I walked into the press room
for the last time this morning, I was so
sad and yet excited that we were there to
do the last issue of the session. I could
remember the first day and all the
excitement everyone had. They were all
so ready to meet new people and get the
EYP spirit again! The CJO (Chair-Journo–
Orga) Team was more than prepared to
make sure all the delegates were going to
have the fun of their lives and the
delegates couldn’t be more ready to get to know everyone and
have fun but still do some serious work on their resolutions.
As time went by, we became closer and shared most of
the secrets we had never told to anyone. We finally got the EYP
spirit but as all other things, this session also has an end, which
we weren’t ready to face.
Today, I know that at the end of the GA, we will all be
recalling the best memories from the conference we have. The
funny moments and the smiles, the secrets we shared and of
course the group hugs and the tap on the shoulders. I know I
will, I know we all will… But after a while of PED (Post-EYP-
Depression) we will be meeting at another conference in another
country or even another continent. All we have to do is to keep
in touch and continue the EYP spirit.
Take care everyone; hope to see you in another conference
yet to come…
By Alca on behalf of all the journo team.
Out of boredom...
Right now we are sitting in the press room which has been
invaded by chairs hungry to write a resolution for their
committees. It’s 23:39. Velimir right beside us is so bored that
what he is doing is research for histories of ex-Yugoslavian
countries which basically
have the same histories.
However, he is devilishly
enjoying the somehow
modified-by-each-nation
facts and is comparing the
different stories emerging
from the same basis. It’s
nonsense. And as Leonie
expressed herself clearly
“We couldn’t care less.”

Nappy timeSleep is like the dragon - it
is rumored to exist, but I
doubt I will see any.
As the session progresses, more and
more EYP’ers can be found sleeping
on couches, in the busses and in
other random places. The lack of
sleep is taking its toll.
Some are lucky enough to do a nap without being seen by
the all-noticing journo team, however… these poor boys and
girls were unable to escape from the camera:
Late night Qoutes“I can smell my own smell, and it doesn’t feel well.”
Adam, 21:07
“I’ll just show you where my grandfather lives.” Velimir,
00:04
“They have 6 different official languages which are
practically the same and it’s not even a country.”
Velimir, 23:30
“There’s a limit up to which it hurts the most and then
you go numb. It’s like that when you’re bored. If you’re
in the most boring situation possible you’ll have fun with
it, which is exactly what you’re doing.” Nehir, 00:29
“Do you know that there are 931 male babies and 885
female babies right now in Kikinda? Don’t you feel like
it’s all finally making sense, and your life has a
purpose?” Velimir, 00:37
“There are 3 fishermen in Kikinda. And one is a
woman.” Velimir, 00:38
“Do you know how many fishing ships Slovenia has? It’s
like this, uh!” (showing number 2 with his fingers)
Neven, 01:00
“How is this guy American? What was his name? Cyrus
Hemlin...oh okay.” Velimir, 01:00
“It used to be the street where your grandfather lives
now. There’s a war there... No, it’s a market actually.”
Nehir, 01:11
Ezgi: People, wait, I have to check the first one!
Anonymous: It arrived!
Chairs: YMCA!
Nehir: Why are we gay!?
“We couldn’t bullshit more.” (whatever that means)
Nehir,10:09.

Apology of this issue goes to Seda
for managing to forget to include her
signature twice! - in the DROI-IMCO
article and the Orga(y)s do rock
And for category “the biggest number of silly
pictures” Mahmut goes to...

little with their committee...
