How to Access Online Textbook

Go to the Pearland ISD website and click on the Students tab

Next, click on the link Online Textbooks

Read the disclaimer to ensure your web browser at home will support the online textbook. Then click on

the link HMH Textbooks (HRW) under the Intermediate Schools (Grades 5-8) section.

Again, click on the link HMH Textbooks (HRW)

You will now be prompted to enter in your username and password (the same username and password

you use at school to log on to the computer)

You will now be connected to your online textbook. Each student has access to all textbooks from the

publisher PISD uses. Your student has access to Grades 6-8, Algebra 1 and 2, and Geometry. Choose the

correct grade level/course.

Once you have chosen the appropriate grade level, you now have access to all the features our textbook

offers. The resources are found by clicking the Student Edition and Resources icon

- Math on the Spot Videos (videos created to teach the same concepts we teach in class)

- Worksheets that can be downloaded in case you forgot your assignment at home

- A PDF version of the textbook for students and parents to review.
