From the information found on the Internet, there arises proposals that reflect on the history like stories and our perception from the present. As this means allows to know different versions.

The drought of 2007 in Catalonian (Spain) did emerge from the waters of the reservoir the village of Sau, which sunk in the early 60s for “developmentalism” of the Franco regime. I researched online the story of the construction of water reservoirs in Spain and I had found a pdf file the three volumes of the National Plan of Water, 1933 on the website of the Ministry of Development and Environment. The various information I have been collecting and connecting in a symbolic visual narration. From these narratives emerged a series of objects and actions.

As an exercise in memorization, I copied by hand with watercolor pencil in notebooks child Volumen II of PNHO, 1933 in Spain, with the list of all village where receive water from a total of 205 projects of water reservoirs, canals and irrigation ditches. But in 1936 the Spanish Civil War began, after World War II and the Cold War. The construction of water reservoirs was conducted by the dictatorship of Franco, who forced move hundred of people from their villages. Franco used prisioner of war and regime opponents to build his great works. Forced evictions of villages continued until the 80s after the death of Franco.

I placed this notebooks written and some topographical maps inside a inflatable kids’ swimmning pool I filled it with water after.

Reservoirs topographic maps copied by hand, scale 1:25000 SIGPAC online Wiewer Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment of Spain. The actios was to stick maps on the wall with water.

I redraw the altered sequence of the explosion of the tower. What was destroyed is rebuilt to return to destroy it in a infinite repetition. Watch the video:

42 fragments form a topographical drawing manipulated part or a territory of Spain. Inside each piece there is a newspaper clipping dated 42 consecutive days. I request the public to rebuild it.

Sound experience of the landscape. A cello musician looks at the screen of a small laptop, in which there is a graph of recorded sound in an inner courtyard of a city. The audience can be heard through the speakers located under the seats. Musician’s entries are marked in the graph. He tries to imitate with his musical instrument sounds recorded in a rural setting. The artificiality of all remenbers that the landscape is a mental construction.
