ENGAGED WITH ASIA TELEMEDICINEPROGRAM: THE BACKGROUND (1)

Our first aproach with TEMDEC was the participation of Dr. Miguel A.Tanimoto, gastroenterology specialist of National Institute of MedicalSciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán in the event TIP Techs inParadise 2013. His conference was about the "Current situation forendoscopic diagnosis of early gastrointestinal neoplasia in Mexico."

The Next activities during 2013 were:

• After the success at endoscopic conference, we had a Meeting in Mexico Citywith Dr. Zhimizu, and TEMDEC and APAN staff team.

• We talked about next collaboration plans and Dr. Shimizu gave to us aDVTS Package.

ENGAGED WITH ASIA TELEMEDICINEPROGRAM: THE BACKGROUND (3)• Linkage processes with Mexican hospital schools and health institutions.

Case 1: Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “HCG” (Hospital school of University of Guadalajara,Mexico).

• Local meetings with directors, doctors, academics and researchers of “HCG”.• Meetings between HCG and TEMDEC using DVTS tool.

• Technical meetings with staff of Information technologies, telecomand doctors of “HCG”.






• Participation of representatives of HCG as a remote presenters inthe Latin session in Asia-Pacific Advanced Network 36th Meeting.

THE PROSPECTIVE: 2014 ACTIVITIES

• More and more test sessions of DVTS, Quallmage/Quatrewith the support of TEMDEC.

• Continuity to the technical activities with Civil Hospital of Guadalajara

• To start DVTS activities in the National Instiute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran (INCMNSZ)

• Coordinate signing of the Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Kyushu University and CUDI for the applicationfor the license to use multipoint control unit (MCU) systemsoftware for digital video transport system (DVTS).

• To promote video data transmissions between medical organizations

• Support and collaboration for Mexican Association of Gastroenterology to make possible a “live surgery” duringthe simposium “National gastroenterolgy week”, nextnovember 2014.
