Eligibility requirements….

All funded projects must take into account:

– Gender Equity; – Environmental Sustainability;– Good Governance

Presenter
Presentation Notes
The other areas we need to consider are not that different from the Global Grants with our Foundation. Example: Gender Equity, ensuring we are meeting the needs of both genders and associated issues. Environmental sustainability becomes a critical issue due to the fact that it is costly to do environmental assessments in the project country. Those projects will have to complete an Environmental Assessment form and each project will be assessed individually. No different than any GG, Good Governance and accountability is critical with all of Rotary’s GG.This is one of the reasons the GOC values and respects our governance guidelines with GG”s. You will be pleased to know that all of these forms are now included in the one Pre Qualification form. So you have only ONE form. Reminder: If the project has environmental impact then you will need to complete the Environmental form and submit. I will provide you more information on a new development to support us in making decisions on potential environmental issuers.
