We are witnessing a new era of change in the Arab world. Horasis convenesthe 2012 Global Arab Business Meeting to reflect on this process of change,facilitating engagement and dialogue among business leaders and govern -ments from the Arab world and beyond. The meeting shall provide a uniqueplatform for discussion as the Arab world increasingly plays a pivotal role inthe nexus of economic development and geopolitics.
The Global Arab Business Meeting aims to be the foremost annual gatheringof Arab business leaders and their global counterparts. This select group ofglobal leaders will gather to create a powerful platform for cooperationbetween the Arab world and its global trading partners.

The third annual Global Arab Business Meeting to be held in the Emirate ofRas Al Khaimah, and the Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA) isproud to be co-hosting the event that invites top decision makers of com pa -nies from across the region to share their successes over the two-day meetingso that we as a business community can continue to grow and prosper.
We convene at a critical time for the region; one characterised by rapidprogress, development and changes.
Ras Al Khaimah plays an eager and most suitable host to the event, for itsrapid transformation into one of the most lucrative destinations for foreigninvestors.
