The Glen Ridge High School Mission
▪ At GRHS our number one priority is our students
▪ Each student is designated a guidance counselor who helps with scheduling, academic/personal issues, and specifically: college
▪ Students have numerous opportunities in which they can express themselves such as – Joining a club – Joining a team sport– Choosing elective classes that suit their interests – Taking challenging courses– Etc.
Daily Schedule
▪ Each day is comprised of 9 periods (8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.)
▪ Periods 1-8 are specific to each student but will cover: – Mathematics – Science– English– Social Studies– Physical Education– And three elective classes ( extra academic course, computer
science, graphic design, photography, music, etc.)
▪ Period 9 is unique to GRHS and is set aside time for students to seek help from their teachers

Club Highlights
Student Council members taking on town hall.
Girls Learn International officers hosting an event to raise awareness of inequality and women’s rights, and to raise money for their sister school in Veerni, India.
Well Wishes Fundraiser
▪ Well Wishes, a club that raises money to dig wells in third world countries for access to clean water, hosted a ‘stick your principals to the wall’ fundraiser. Each piece of tape cost a dollar.
